Absolutely beautiful…
Delicious food, great atmosphere and most of all, great customer service.
The staff are so friendly and know how to make the customers feel comfortable.
I would definitely rate it more than 5 stars.
And would absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone?

My family & I went to Marcopolo for my birthday dinner during Ramadan - and we all agreed the 45min drive from Narre Warren was well worth it:) We appreciated that we were seated a little earlier so we could break our fast in time with the dates & water thoughtfully set out for Iftar. The meals were delicious and so filling - authentic, traditional Afghani food with a slight Western presentation. Thanks, Nadir & co.for your wonderful hospitality and The. Most. Amazing. Hot. Chips. (and coffee).:) xo

Had the most amazing lamb cutlets here tonight. And the service staff was absolutely lovely. Will be back again very soon.

Food was delicious, especially enjoyed the mixed grill, but everything was tasty. Service was great - my father in law can be quite difficult to deal with and staff were all very polite and accommodating. Dessert was lovely as well. Would highly recommend for a good feed!

After a mutual friends funeral last Wednesday (27th April) this friend booked a table for 15 people and paid $250 towards the final bill. After the funeral at 5.30pm 12 people arranged to the dinner and the table was set for 15 as per original booking. We all had a great time until the bill arrived and it was $500+. When asked if the $250 had been applied to the bill the waiter said no. We asked to speak to the manager and was told that the booking at been changed to 25 people (which it had not and was not true) and that they were keeping the $250 because they had put on extra staff to cover such a large group. We were a group of 12 in a booking of 15. The $250 which had been paid to cover the bill was kept & pocketed by the owner of the restaurant and we had to pay the full amount for our food and drinks. Their actions were unethical and unlawful. Please think seriously before you book a night at this restaurant. They are rip offs. We don't need people like this on the Peninsula.

Food was amazing, quick service with polite staff, especially impressed by Maddison’s manners and work ethic. Will definitely be returning!

This would have to be one of the best Restaurants in Mornington. Have been there many times, and always have the best meal, and fantastic service. Even the takeaway is the same quality as what they serve in the Restaurant. Well worth a visit.

As a vegetarian, was so happy to have so much to choose.
Loved every dish chosen from only the starters options, as it was late, when we were very welcomed & were not needing a big meal. Looking forward to going back to try the mains.

What an amazing experience.
Phenola and Olivia were fantastic and helpful, especially with me being vegan:) We loved every aspect of the restaurant, real homely feel with some really interesting photos on the wall.
Never had Afghani food before and this was really awesome, not overpowering and not unbearably hot and spicy. Some really amazing flavours cooked up by Nada and his crew.
Thank you for being there so that we could experience these wonderful flavours from your country.

First time to eat Afgan food. A delicious fusion of Persian, Pakistani and its own unique flair. The vegetarian and meat meals were all outstanding at great value. I highly recommend this family run restaurant.

I took my partner out to Marcopolo to celebrate his birthday a few nights ago and we were both blown away by how amazing the entire experience was.

All the staff were attentive and lovely, and the restaurant was full of photos of Afghanistan so the whole environment/ambient felt authentic too.

The food is some of the best we’ve ever had. We’ve never really had the opportunity to try Afghan food before, but everything we ordered was mind-blowing and amazing.

We ordered a mixed entree platter to share, Kabuli Palow, Aashak, garlic nan and firnée, with everything requested to be vegetarian.
Words can’t even describe how amazing all the food was. Highly recommend Kabuli Palow, the rice mixed with sultanas, almond and carrots paired superbly well with the eggplant and spinach. Aashak was something different (quite similar to the dumplings we had in the entree platter) and the nan was fresh.

We got to try Persian fairy floss for the first time as well in our firnée dessert which was sweet enough to share between the two of us.

Already drooling again writing this. Can’t wait to return for another meal. Thank you very much for hands down some of the best food we’ve had in Melbourne! Will definitely return again and have recommended this place to many friends and families already.

I remember this place from my childhood. They may have changed location several times, however the quality has never wavered. I highly recommend anyone gives this place a go, the food is absolutely delicious.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Every time we visit we are made to feel so very welcome, and this time was no exeption. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and always arrives on time. Katie and Olivia were incredibly kind, hospitable and accommodating as always, making the most delicious affogato I had ever had. Thank you so very much for a wonderful end to our night.

Service excellent, the staff's recommendations on point.
Dumplings, delicate, full of flavour, dancing on the tongue. Enjoyed the kebabs, lamb and chicken with salad, homemade Nan. The Afghan Rice with Lamb also, very succulent and sweet. We would have loved to try dessert, but too full. Wonderful, warm ambience. Persian Princess cocktail, stunning. Thanks Nadir and team!

This place is the best, everytime they’re fully booked they always manage to find us a table, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff who are always on the ball, beautiful food, this place will forever be our spot

Such a wonderful and enjoyable experience! Staff are so fabulous, friendly, helpful and the place is inviting and the food! Amazing! So happy that they have reopened and just as good! Church (staff) was fabulous and the chef was wonderful too, I’ll definitely be back as a regular guest. Thank you!
