Food was so tasteful and serving size was very adequate. Wait staff very pleasant and knowledgeable with food choices

Great service! The manager was super accommodating, ringing before hand to ask where our group of 8 would like to be seated. He even went out and sourced a birthday cake for us with only a couple of hours notice! Wait staff are super efficient. We received our food in good time and most importantly - it was delicious!

Beautiful food and staff, loved sharing family style with friends! Will definitely be back an amazing menu and Shane thank you for helping us with our selection of delicious dishes!

I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is perfect for both couples and groups of people. I highly recommend to everyone.

The service of the place was amazing, I’ve had authentic afghani food before, chicken was tender and flavourful rice could have been better. Afghani food usually has spicy sauce/chutney with it to maximize the experience was missing that. Rest everything was very good dessert was my favourite

Absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this restaurant. The food, the service, the location and the vibe. All their meats are 100% halal too which is fantastic. I would go so far as saying that this is the BEST halal food in Mornington! The meats were incredible especially the lamb chops so juicy and flavourful hand down the best lamb chops I have ever had! The Afghan pilaf was also insanely good and a must try. And if you are looking for a deal defs check out the All you can eat special on Wednesdays!

Great food and ambience. I was told this restaurant has been around for 20 years. Genuine Afghan food. Must try the Afghan Dumpling.

Tried the mixed grilled.
The chicken was very similar to the supermarket version you can get for one dollar per skew.
Definitely not worth 45 dollars! Maybe 25 Max.
Maybe other foods are good. Not the Mixed grilled for sure.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful, friendly owner. We came here sporadically, never having been, and it was the best decision! We got the mixed grill - the meal was so tasty and delicious. The owner took time out of his day to make sure we had everything we need and to chat with us. My husband said: Now that man understands customer service- not only is the food amazing but to take the time to make your customers feel welcome, you don't just get that anywhere!

What a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Wow if you’re in the mood for real authentic and flavour filled Afghani food search no further than here.
Exceptional staff and service.
Food arrived very quickly and every single dish was a standout.
From the Trio of dips (highlight was the coriander chutney) to the lamb cutlets everything was superb! Even the rice was exceptional…. The Rice!
Can not recommend enough if you want something other than boring pubfood

Firstly I am an optimist person who always go for the positive side of a thing, most of the staff you have is good.

But yesterday the way one of your staff treated us was not at all acceptable, he doesn’t know how to talk with a customer, He was so rudeee and don’t even know what a word respect means, Even a illiterateee person knows how light hearted kiddds are, and how to talk to them or in front of them.

I respect your restaurant policy, we spent $215, there was nothing like we were saving money by bringing in MccDonald's nuggets, our childdd (Ageddd 6) don't like restaurant food, he just likedd McDdonald’s nuggets and thats what he was having.

My concern is,
Why your staff didn’t stopped us at entry and let us know that Sir your childdd cant have nuggets here.

The way he talked to us was not at all acceptableee, been in Australia from last 10 years, never experienced such a attitudee from a staff.

First time eating Afghan and the food was absolutely divine and will come back when I’m in town next. The waiter Shane was just a gorgeous guy and super friendly! Thank you A+

This restaurant is by far my favourite in Mornington, great food, awesome service and the ambience was delightful

First time dining here, my partner previously dined here years ago sounded promising unfortunately lacking flavour very plain overpriced for quality of food, staff lovely but wont revisit disappointing.

The front of house staff where amazing and did a fantastic job on a busy Saturday Night, to provide a excellent customer service experience.
The chefs did an amazing job, I was with a small party of 12 people and a busy restaurant, food quality was fantastic, the tastes were brilliant, a great insight to the amazing flavor's of Afghan food. The spices, the style of cooking, just brilliant tastes. They did amazing job to fulfill all orders without any signs of hiccups or stress.
I want to send out a special shout to an amazing front of house staff member. I believe his name was Shane. My small party allowed him to choose dishes for us, rather than order from the Menu. What he chose was fantastic it was a mixture of his person choice and house specialties, Shan did an amazing job of ensuring that our table was well catered as did the other front of House staff.
Shane was helpful, bright, enthusiastic, approachable, and amazing person. Thank you so much
To anyone that is in the Mornington area, this is a must go to restaurant and experience
