Afghan central restaurant reviews
60Went there for lunch and ordering and food to table time was reasonable since we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. But food was overpriced and no taste. We ordered chicken curry thing with bread and we got a chicken curry with few pieces and chips in the curry! Bread was out of the fridge and served cold not worth it!
Only if i had zero star
Waited 1.5 hrs still didn't get food eventually left without eating.
They served 2 customers who came after us.
PS on top waitress didnt have clue what we ordered and how long were we were waiting with a 4 year old child
Ordered chicken biryani via uber and got lamb biryani.
Called the resturant and I was told that there is nothing they can do and next time IF I come back they will fix me up!
Let's just say that I had to order fast food which was the only option available at 9.35pm
No point calling them to order. They start preparing your order once you get there and take another 30 minutes.
The girls in the front dont know what they are doing. They need proper training.
Waste of time.
At Last Cranbourne Is On The Map For Food Authentic Afghan food for serious foodies
The Food was delicious Very popular place amongst the locals and visitors, Im a big fan of good food out of Melbourne Looking forward to returning again soon
Absolutely fresh ingredients and delicious food. A group of us cycled here and had a delicious lunch. A great place for a group to share plates. Loved the freshly baked bread which I ate far too much of. Would definitely eat here again. Thanks for your food and smiling greetings. May you live long and prosper
Waited almost triple the original time I was told my food would take. Asked if they’d put sauce in, sure enough no sauce when I got home. Also food is very bland, better off driving to Dandenong.
Great service! Great food and great value for money!
Loved the $2 giant bread the most. Plus the convenience of the shopping centre parking and facilities.
Would definitely try again.
5 stars!
Slow, expensive and not worth. Super slow and the workers move like sloths taking their time. Very unclean, most spoons, knifes and forks are washed poorly.
Great delicious food. No matter what time it is the owners of this place likes to feed. I can't say enough how amazing and delicious their foods are. Try the lamb shank with chips and salad, and arrange. Add extra lamb shanks just to give it a kick start!
10/10 for these guys. Their char grilled Afghan kebabs and all other dishes are awesome. Can’t get enough
Worst service ever!
Never deliver food on the time they suggest themselves for pick up. Always have an extra hour spare before you order from this place.
Also, if you are there and they ask you to wait just 5 more minutes, it means you waiting another 30 mins.
The food is good but the wait for that food is totally not worth it.
Terrible customer service! Never come back again! I waited 30 mins and after that someone asked me what I’m waiting for, I told them my order, and she said it’s sitting next to her! I was very annoyed as she didn’t let me know when my order was ready. So disappointed with the quality of the food after that long waiting too. The food was cold and taste terrible! Not recommended!
One of the worst restaurants I have ever been. The staff doesn’t know how to deal with customers and shows attitude towards customers. Please don’t waste your time and money in this place.
Not sure why this place has such bad reviews.it seems most are cause of the customer service or bad wait times for online orders. We mainly dine it and have never had a problem, wait times have been reasonably, food is always cooked to a good standard, grilled meat has a nice charcoal flavour and tender, lamb cutlets always on point, dumplings are delish and there fresh bread is delicious. It's the best Afghani restaurant in casey area, and the place we go to when we can't be bothered going to Dandenong for Afghani food.
One of the south-east’s best kept secrets. Affordable food cooked in a traditional way. Meats are tender and side dishes are just like you've gone to an Afghan friends place for dinner.
Yummmm-o
AAAAA+
Ordered lamb biryani and there was literally one small piece of lamb in there. What a waste of $14 and it was a left over biryani. I did ask the front girl if it was fresh and she said yes.
I just don’t understand why every single time we order from here it’s never right. The last time they missed our extra skewer, the bread and sauces. We order delivery again tonight and again they didn’t send the bread and only sent the sauce that we paid extra for. Where were are free sauces? Come on guys, your food is good but how hard is it to actually get the order right for once? Last time we said we were not going to order it again but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and again they stuffed it. It’s not hard people, seriously! When you first opened you were amazing but now it seems you don’t actually care. Where’s the love gone? Rant over
I wish I paid attention to the reviews before I ate here. Service left a lot to be desired and the place had an unloved feel - not very clean or welcoming. The food was bland and chicken was dry. It seemed to be reheated rather than cooked fresh. Thankful that we didn't get food poisoning because I have to admit, I was worried we might. I would not recommend, sorry.
I purchased the lamb Ghorme which tasted alright but was served extremely very little. I honestly feel ripped off for the price of 14.99
