Abbey Road Cafe reviews
53 Great restaurant located in a prime location at the heart of Auckland street. They offer both inside and outside seating. The food is delicious and well priced.
They have 2 litters beer towers on tap which is a must try.
The burgers are really juicy and yum.
Definitely recommended if you are around.
Great service. The owners are constantly walking around making sure all customers have been attended too which is great to see. Very short wait time for food and coffee, and also tastes amazing. Great atmosphere with music and funcky celebrity photos and instruments around the place. Highly recommend. We need something like this in Coffs.
I had the Abbey Road Burger and I loved it! By far the best burger I've ever had! The flavor, quality and texture where absolutely amazing. If you're after a big juicy meal with really good value for money come here.: D
Thursday parma and jug deals are good value. Can be too busy here with tourists during peak season or public holidays. Service is average
Lovely place in the middle of Acland street. Plenty of outdoor seating with sufficient heating on the cooler nights. Decor is a mixture of bar, cafe and a few french provincial chairs (very comfy) music is a bit loud (I'm talking about nights when there are not many people) the music tends to slightly be too loud when considering the floor is concrete. Food is good, coffee is good and service is good. Tables are cleaned promptly and attention to detail is evident. The only slight constructive observation is the toilets. One has to walk to the back and almost outside to arrive.possibly a first world problem but merely trying to describe the place. Overall great venue with no pretentiousness and lots of fun.
Absolutely stunning venue with beautiful musical memorabilia throughout the eatery. Incredibly friendly and kind staff, affordable prices and lovely heating outside on a Winter's morning.
I'll be back!
For the Buffalo chicken wings and the banana bread with mascarpone only. Steer clear of the "Chai" unless you want to drink half a cup of sugar.
Sat outside waiting for a staff member to notice we had arrived. Went to the bathroom, came back & still nobody had offered my partner a menu. We were both starving & quite offended that numerous staff were loitering around, totally oblivious to the fact that two hungry people were seated outside, ready to spend money here. Fortunately, there is much choice on Acland St, so we ate at a decent place up the road, with attentive & friendly staff who do not ignore would be diners! Will not bother going to Abbey Road again.
One of the favorite places in Melbourne St. Kilda. Polite and helpful service. Good music and tasty food that’s all you can find here. Parmigiana is a legend!
We had chicken suvlaki and Halumi Salad. Quality was good and atmosphere very nice. Service was a bit late
This used to be one of my favourites till about a year ago. Chicken breast and rib eye were my favourite dishes, but then I’m not sure what happened.
They expanded the place, and the food and service quality went down drastically. You wait ages for a staff member to come and get your order, they forget things, and serve wrong dishes after a very very long time.
We waited for over 15 minutes last time to be served and I decided to leave and haven’t been back since. Pity as it had a really good vibe and good food. Hopefully they will pick up their game but it’ll definitely be a while before I give it a try again.
Don't bother crossing the road. Abbey Road Cafe isn't worth the bother. Went for breakfast this morning and after initially being given menus we were then forgotten for ages. I had to call someone over to take our order. When the meal finally arrived I was extremely underwhelmed. Definitely not what I expected from a cafe snack in the middle of bustling St Kilda. My sliced bread looked like it came from Coles supermaket next door and the was no amount of effort made on presentation. Overpriced breakfast that looked like something my 12 year old would present to me.
We just passed by this place accidentally. This cafe was very eye-catching with a lot of customers in early morning. So we sat down, the staff was really friendly & helpful! It was satisfied to have a super tasty hot breakfast with fresh ingredients. The price was very reasonable. We ordered 2 breakfast, 2 cups of coffee, it was $50AUD (included tips). We enjoyed a lot the atmosphere & music there, everyone was so chilled and enjoying the morning. I felt that the staffs and customers were so closed, felt like old friends:)
