Good food and great service, pleasant ambience. Enjoyed our food and the presentation was really nice.

All of the meals were delicious, this restaurant kindly offer kids menu.
My family really enjoy have dinner there.

The best steaks I have eaten in Melbourne, each and every time. Since my last visit in May the food has elevated. Each of the dishes are more sophisticated, but not complicated. The service is always attentive and inviting. I love this place!

This is the third time I've been to A Hereford Beefstouw and it still has some of the best steak on offer in the CBD. We had the Ribeye, Potato Gratin and a Rocket salad with walnuts, poach pears, ricotta and parmesan. This is a great place for steak enthusiasts or for anyone looking for a perfect date night option as the atmosphere is perfect for a cosy night out.

Ambience was good. Service was a bit inexperienced but overall, staff were sincere and did their best to give good service. Entrees were yummy

There was a mouse running around the restaurant. Food was very expensive and the steak and ribs we ordered was a bit dry and flavourless for that price. Salads were very average.
The second most expensive glass of red on the menu was also not great. I also ordered a dry sherry from the menu but staff couldnt find the bottle to serve it.

Laneway beauty. Danish steakhouse. Great location fun vibe and great steaks. Staff very knowledgeable. 1.4? Kg tomahawk steak looked fabulous

Lovely steaks & quality meats.
Cooked to perfection. Sides were really nice but the sauces could have been better. However I enjoyed the steaks on its own without the sauces

We had a high expectation on this place however the 100 days dry age steak is definitely not up to standard.ordered medium rare but it turns out looking a well done steak… no moisture at all and it’s really stiff.reflected that to the staff but didn’t get anything in return.well other dish such as the beef tartare fries and salad were pretty good but expected to have a better steak

Food was excellent but service wasn't good had to keep asking for drinks or a dessert menu. Took ages to take plates away very disappointing staff don't try to upsell.

Easily the nicest restaurant steak I’ve ever eaten and a lovely experience from all the staff. If anything could be improved I would say the tables are a little narrow for a 6’6 fatty, but otherwise fantastic!

Visiting this place with local Melbournian friends and truly experience 'when having beef with someone is finally a good thing' - Love this place.

Probably now one of my favorite place for steakhouse. Service was also great and we didnt wait too long for our meal. Price was very reasonable too. Cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the steaks on its own without the sauces. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good quality steak!

Worst steakhouse in Melbourne. Poor food, poor service. Definitely not real 100 days dry age beef.

We came here for a nice evening out together and to celebrate a weekend away in Melbourne, so many options to choose from but even for my partner that is vegetarian she was able to eat. The service was a bit interesting between staff members with them being confused at times but otherwise a great experience

Fabulous restaurant, atmosphere was lovely staff friendly and professional. Entire meal entree, steak mains, sides, wine was delicious will definitely be back.

A place hidden from the main streets, there lies a place where you can get the best steak with their speciality tomahawk.

Sides are also quite tasty, so everything is worth eating. A place to go for special occasions or if you want to try a quality and perfectly cooked steak.

Tucked away in the alley, this place provides great steaks at a reasonable price. The Caesar salad was surprisingly satisfying, so don't sleep on that as well!

I receaved a medium well done after asking rare.
They made excuses after I complained to the management.
