55Great vibes and great food. Getting met at the door with an enthusiastic “Yuuuum! ” was hilarious and made my evening
I have been here a few times and the eggplant lasagne never disappoints, so delicious. The music tonight was crazy loud though, made it very difficult for our table of 4 to chat.
Food is good, lasagne carries the menu, music good. But the staff need to pull their head in. We were regulars and stopped going because they’re too busy socialising and loitering out the front smoking and drinking which isn’t a good look. Place has potential to be great but destined to be another pretentious hipster joint if they don’t get new staff.
I don’t get the hype. But then I’m big on service. Staff too busy talking to each other to remember to bring water or a simple drinks order. Trying too hard to be trendy and forgetting the basic elements of what makes a restaurant / bar GOOD.
We sat at the bar and it was hard to ignore the staff at the bar drinking (I hope at least after their shift). One of the kitchen staff sank like 3 beers and we were still waiting for our bill.
Go check out the other places in the area if you enjoy good service and get the laz delivered instead. Heaps around!
The lasagne (the main attraction) is delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had rich meat sauce with thick creamy beschemel sauce, and a crispy cheese top. It tasted really authentically Italian. I also tried my friend's rigatoni with pork and fennel sauce. That was also great and really rich and flavourful. They also had some tasty mocktails.
Lasagna was tiny for the price, even then the quality wasn’t justified. I ordered a coke and it cost me $5 which came in a glass cup and was seriously flat. Such a shame as the staff and vibe was nice
Super cool vibes, delicious drinks and friendly staff. The meat lasagne is very yummy, but unfortunately the portion size was small for the price. Not the best value for money, but still a fun experience.
Amazing service, amazing vegetarian lasagna. I love restaurants that focus on one thing, and get it absolutely right! Love the marketing of this as well. One night in lockdown we ordered 2 vegetarian lasagnas but received 2 meat, were very disappointed but the staff were very nice and refunded the meal and offered a replacement to have in store at a later date as they were sold out on the night. Not the best situation, but handled very nicely. Kudos to you! Will be coming back.
We had such a lovely birthday dinner here. Delicious cocktails. The lasagna was perfection (especially with the chilli oil option). Tiramisu was scrumptious. It had a great vibe too - buzzing but in a comfy, unpretentious sort of way. I'll be back.
Not only is it an amazing restaurant, with some of the best service I’ve had anywhere, we had delivery tonight and they dropped off a bunch of flowers with our meal “just cos”… in a bloody lock down these legends are putting smiles on this house hold. X
Delicious lasagne and fantastic atmosphere however the portion sizes are very small for the price and would benefit from having a side salad.
I was hoping to be blown away but alas I was not. Lasagne is very heavy on bechamel so it arrived in one sloppy heap. Service was so patchy; our waitress actually asked us if we had ordered AFTER we were done and the table was cleared and we had to ask another waitress 3 times for the drink menu. Staff seem to prefer having a laugh and chit chat together instead of actually helping customers. Did I finish my lasagne? Yes, it was fine (but not great). Would I go again? Nope.
Very good lasagne, if you like the style of lasagne that is heavy on the bechamel and has very soft noodles. Their delivery window is 6-9pm and they can't commit further than that, but ours came at 5: 50pm and the driver was a bit strange about the fact that my brother arrived at home the same time she dropped off the delivery. A single $25 lasagne box is good for 2-3 servings which is pretty decent value by food delivery standards. All in all, decent lasagne, but nothing to write home about. Props to them for being so hyped on Instagram but the hype is slightly overstated IMO. All that said, it is pretty difficult to find good home delivered lasagne in this town so they are filling a needed niche.
Amazing Lasagne (and well worth adding the optional chilli oil) and great negroni cocktails. The staff were very attentive and great service
My family all have their lasagne recipes and I just can't find anything that beats them. However, sometimes you just NEED a lasagne asap and don't have time to make it and that's why I stopped in at 1800 Lasagne.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is so on point and very trendy. Really warm cosy hipster vibes (in a great way).
The lasagne is really delicious, it is an oily fatty huge wonderful portion of lasagne! Cheesy, soft meat, great sauce to mop up with bread after.
I haven't been back as I find the menu a bit pricey for me, and will stop in on a special occasion next time. I'd go fairly often if the portion was a tad smaller or it was cheaper to take away than
dine in.
