1800 Lasagne

Have only experienced this via delivery and during Covid lockdowns. Thought I would treat myself to takeaway with the hubby out on a night out. I arrived here after a 35 minute drive to be told that all the takeaway allocations sold out at 5: 15pm - 15 minutes after the phone lines opened *insert tears here. The so very kind lady lady at the front offered me a seat in the house even though I looked like a hobo in my trackies and beanie. I drove this far I was having lasagna! I had an unplanned glass of wine and had a date with myself. I had my meat lasagna and my glass of red and it was true bliss. Thank you so much. Worth the drive and the wait staff were perfection. It must be a pleasure working there as well I would imagine. 10/10 - the best and I can’t wait to maybe have a date with my husband here next time…. Grazie

Amazing! Great vibe, great music. Food was exceptional we had the meat and vege lasagne with a green salad and garlic bread and i could have eaten it twice. Well done team

Phenomenal. Small food menu but everything on it is done to perfection, bar staff make a mean cocktail and great tunes.

What a fabulous place - the staff were amazing, the food was delicious, the drinks menu was long and the vibe was fantastic.

*Adding to my review, still the best lasagne, and the restaurant itself is off the charts. I ordered 3 garlic breads last time, like 1 per person because they are that good. Service is impeccable, excellent vinyl tunes being spun in the front bar, and the little Italian seated area out the back is the epitome of a date night spot. Also I'm half Italian don't tell my Mum I said it's the best lasagne. Mamma Mia.

INCREDIBLE. Loved the food during lockdown, thought the restaurant would be just fun, but it was EXCEPTIONAL – amazing family atmosphere, such a good buzz.

Yes the lasagne portion is on the smaller side, but it’s the perfect size to eat with some shared sides.
The greens, the coz wedge, and the damn good bread and butter. Dipping the bread between the lasagne or the lemoney chilli oil from the greens *chefs kiss
The takeaway option is double the size for when you wanna gorge at home on the couch and not have to make your way home. Personally I think the portion sizes are perfect for eat in.
Only gripe is my beloved Susan Sarandon cocktail has been retired, I’ll miss her.
The lasagne has good and great nights and I think it used to have more fennel and confit garlic, I also preferred it crisper when we use to have to wait 30 mins for it to be ready, but I understand the wait times might not have been possible forever! Thanks Joey and team:)

Tucked away behind an unassuming Shopfront in High Street Northcote I found this little gem. 1800 Lasagne

Ordered a delicious Spaghetti with shell fish, super fresh, well balanced garlic and moth watering cheese. On my own sat tucked in a busy little passageway where I smashed the main, followed by Tiramisu. Toasty overhead heating, live DJ tracks. Made my Saturday night! They’re licensed and a nice selection of wines etc.

Really Overrated. It was a Cool space, staff were friendly and helpful.however I’ve had better frozen lasagna and tiramisu from Aldi. Very disappointed. Not authentic at all.

So disappointing. My partner loves lasagne so thought I'd take him here, but we honestly couldn't tell the difference between the lasagne we were served and reheated lasagne from the supermarket. Maybe they had an off night but I can't say I would recommend.

Phenomenal. Just brilliant. The best lasagna you will ever eat. Pasta perfect al dente > service is sublime, drinks delicious, DJ was playing some rare cuts of great hard to find stuff. A superb experience. It just feels so authentic, welcoming and warm.that is probably cause it is! Go there now.

With no exaggeration this place has the BEST lasagna I’ve ever had. The garlic bread is especially amazing, and of course the wedge anchovy cream salad is a must try! Amazing staff and the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Super cute outside courtyard, perfect for date night.

Best eggplant lasagne I’ve ever had! Thank you so much! I hate when places put random wierd ingredients in. This one was perfect! Gnocchi was nice but serving could’ve been a tad bigger. Bf was still v hungry. The garlic bread was realllly delicious too. I recommend getting one per person because they’re so yummy nice staff. Music was upbeat and funky which I loved. I hate when a place has sad slow music.

Been here a few times really great lasagna generally. Sadly I have discovered they can have their bad days like my last visit: (however the gnocchi saved the day. It was delicious! I wish I ordered more bread to to dip into the sauce which was simply exquisite!

Life changing lasagne. Will I ever be the same again? Hard to say. Can’t wait for my next serve.

The Lasagne was good. Filling and yummy. But the fresh salad, like it was just picked straight out of the Chefs own garden and the accompanying dressing were exemplary - I mean out of this world - Good!

Lasagne been great first few times ordering it delivery. Ordered it last week for my birthday and it was a sloppy mess, the béchamel didn’t hold together at all.

Love the restaurant staff and everything they do for the community. Hopefully it was just a bad batch, it’s not a cheap meal so not sure if I’ll risk getting it again, they set the bar so high with the first few times I had it.
