1800 Lasagne reviews
55Shout tf out to 1800 lasagne, one of my favourites on northside and I’d eat here everyday if I could
Very limited menu. I suppose the name is a bit of a giveaway. The lasagne was good but nothing special for a place that specialises in Lasagne.
However, the place was so busy that we had a limited seating time. It is a deceivingly large restaurant and appeared to be full so they must be doing something right.
You want good Lasagna. Here it is.
Great service too.
Get the Lasagne Di Melanzane WOW!
Tiramisu was killer too
Had my sixth visit there last night and it’s always an amazing lovely experience. Service is flawless and the food is reasonably priced and just lovely place to have a feed. I usually get either the eggplant lasagne or the pesto and they’re delicious. Definitely get the garlic bread and the cos lettuce
Had driven past many times and finally decided to try. Did not disappoint. Sat at the bar which gave us a great view into the restaurant. It was busy even at 9: 30pm. The atmosphere really lively. DJ playing tunes. Staff were friendly, lots of banter but best of all the staff were amazing, really attentive. We ordered the lasagne di carne, the spaghetti vongole and mix greens salad. Both pasta delicious! The dressing on the greens was on point. Shared a tiramisu for dessert, a lovely end to the night.
4.5
Garlic bread had great bread and a lot of garlic, it was incredibly oily in the middle which also made it a bit soggy.
Gnocchi were amazing, super light and fluffy. The sauce was good, but I would like something else with it (chili maybe), it tasted like eating a Margherita pizza.
Lasagne was excellent with a generous amount of cheese and bechamel on top.
Service was great, ambience was great, reservation recommended.
We enjoyed our meals and are eager to try more items.
Great ambience and vibe. Attentive service with staff who were genuinely interested in making sure we had what we needed. Interesting to read the negative reviews as our lasagne, other meals and sides were all delicious! As for the price, I’ve paid more for less in more pretentious places, so I thought my meat lasagna was fairly priced given how much I enjoyed it. You don’t get a good comfort meal for less than $26.50 anywhere else unless you stay home and cook it yourself!
Will come back again! Thanks 1800lasagne team!
Also great Italian wine! Yum yum!
Great food and good service in a cosy space. The lasagne is definitely a standout, and the gnocchi was pretty good.
OMG the lasagne is HEAVENLY. Lovely ambience, busy staff still pleasant and friendly. I had the eggplant lasagne and my husband had the meat one. Our eyes rolled into the back of out heads in culinary ecstasy. The tiramisu is good but not great.
We will be back!
The Best Ever Lasagna it was divine!
We drove from Kew to buy takeaway we will be back to try more delicious Italian cuisine
This place is always booked out when we've tried booking, so we were excited when we finally got a table on the weekend. Our experience wasn't great. When we showed up on time for our booking, we were behind a group that was chatting for a while. We figured that they were waiting for the staff to come and seat them. After a few minutes longer, we realised that the hostess was just having a chat with her mates, ignoring us until the conversation was over.
We ordered a pickle and bread starter, and garlic bread and lasagne for mains.
The pickles were pretty bland (the butter and bread were nice, though). My beer was served warmer than I would have liked, and my partner's lasagne wasn't very hot.
Overall, the food wasn't terrible, and I reckon the apathetic style of service may have left a bad taste in my mouth.
As far as lasagne goes, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but my Italian Nonna do heaps better.
Best Lasagne I have ever had.
The Cos lettuce/parmisan/anchovy thingo was delicious as well.
Thank you for existing 1800 Lasagne.
Such a great vibe and food … we came straight from the airport to eat here and so glad we did. Food was fantastic, service totally lovely and the vibe was totally Melbourne. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you shut your eyes and thought how garlic bread, green salad and lasagna should taste it was like that only better … go go go
The best lasagna in Melbourne. I’d even go as far to say even better then my Nonna’s (hopefully she doesn’t see this) Great selection of Vino Rosso also. One of the best in the Northern suburbs!
Shout out to the Maradona shrine.
We got the garlic bread, gnocchi and both lasagne.
Food was fast, homey and tasty.
Very cool place to sit and be.
Food was good however my partner can make tastier Lasagne. Wine list needs more information and explanation. I was disappointed in my wine choice.
We called up 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and requested a table outside because we had a dog.
Everything from the food, portions, cocktails (spritzers are the bomb yo) and the kitchen were able to send out superb awesome amount of food just before they shut down. I've eaten with you guys now. Five times but only ever had lasagna once (always sold out!) Was nowhere near disappointed.
Thank you so much for feeding us, Drink for us and being totally awesome human beings.
Thanks for being so accommodating for my dog Bowie too.
Best gnocchi I've ever had, nice selection of imported drinks, good prices and very kind staff
Awesome food, special shout-out to Chloe for helping us get the shirts we wanted when I was very indecisive!
Vibes inside are immaculate. Lasagne and gnocchi were chef’s kiss. Would go again and paired well with the Campari. Tiramisu was also yummy
