58Lovely food, excellent catering for my son's food allergies. Very impressed with the floor staff and kitchen staff for being so thorough, helpful and friendly.
Had a fabulous lunch with a group of friends here. Service and food was great and the location is tops.
Good range of beers and, like every other time I've visited there over the last decade, the service was horrendously slow.
Came here on a Wednesday for lunch, the place was empty, we weren't greeted by any staff, when they finally did come over, were extremely rude saying we had to ' hurry up and order ' as they're shutting soon.
Went across to Hooked on the water and were fabulous, welcoming and food was amazing.
This place could be a regular for us as we've recently moved nearby, so it was a shame we didn't have a better experience. It started with confusion when trying to book, it seemed like we were being discouraged from booking a table on the upstairs balcony. I said that was what we wanted, and it was a bit challenging to work out from what the person was saying whether there were tables available or not. Ended up making the booking not quite knowing where we'd end up, in spite of trying to clarify several times. When we arrived we were seated at a table in the balcony and there were plenty of spare tables. Heaters had been mentioned when we booked but they weren't on. I kept my jacket on and was fine. We waited a long time to order, maybe 15-20 minutes, eventually flagged somebody over and ordered wine and mains. Waited a very long time for the wine, had to call somebody over and ask for it again, it ultimately came only a few minutes before the mains, and it was the wrong wine (same brand, but different type) and it was opened without checking, poured and the staff member was gone before we realised. The food was quite enjoyable (both mains and desserts) but not sure we would return for it with the other service issues. Staff were apologetic about the long wait (when called over) and also apologised that the wrong wine had been served (which I mentioned when we paid).
The calamari used to be amazing (salt and pepper), now it's battered and deep fried and not my thing. Sad.
Lovely outlook, friendly staff. Unfortunately the meals we had were overcooked and the meat dry. A shame as I am sure they could do better!
We ended up down stairs as they were fully booked. The burger was amazing I will definitely go back for anothet
The food is fabulous priced well not expensive they have lovely staff parking up til 7 is hard after 7is plentiful gets very busy so will be a slight wait
Was really nice, we had a work function. The meals were yummy and big serves especially the entrees/starters, staff were polite and lovely. The restaurant itself had a great inviting feel with the decor and ambience. Would def go back here again
We thoroughly enjoyed a drink and awsome meal tonight at this establishment overlooking the water the mountains and the boats, staff could not be more accommodating sevice was friendly and efficient, having misplaced my handbag thinking had been stollen was found safe and returned to me promptly thanks to the lovely manager thank you so much.
4/8/19 I ordered the “roast pork” from the daily special board. The “pork” isn’t a chunk of pork with crackling that you’d make at home, rather it resembles thinly sliced or processed pork that you might find in a Woolworths deli. It has a slightly powdery texture also, potentially from preservatives or multiple reheats? The veggies were also extremely basic and the whole meal is equivalent to that of a 12 year olds cooking skills. Not at all up to scratch.
I gave 2 stars instead of 1, as I’ve previously eaten here and enjoyed my meal.
We enjoyed a very nice lunchtime meal, the staff were friendly and helpful, pricing is moderate, there were nearly thirty of us and it didn't take long to get our meals
Idyllic setting overlooking the yacht yard but that's where the classiness ends, at least if you're downstairs - this is your local cheap n cheerful. Foxtel in the sports bar means you can catch your team play - and not many joints offer that. Affordable meals and drinks with more seating outdoors than in. Wine is catspiss so stick to beer or bourbon.
Lovely well priced meals. Fabulous and helpful service. One of my top 3 places to eat at in Hobart.
Beautiful meal. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Discount for seniors very welcome! Easy close parking. We will definately be back.
Had a really nice meal. Went for the pork ribs and they were huge. Lots of chips on the side and the salad was good.
Great friendly staff for such a late hour. Comfortable and pleasant environment with convenient smokers area. Recommended!
