Waterfront Hotel reviews
58We had a great meal with views over the harbour, would recommend if in the area to stop in for a meal to relax and enjoy the views.
The only pub in the area so you don't have a choice.
Tired looking and no atmosphere
Staff are not customer service focused
It's a nice, secluded space for a COVID safe good time. Their outdoor entertaining area is unrivalled on the Eastern Shore.
Came here for tea tonight and absolutely disgusting
Brisket tacos cold, pork bao buns cold, chips cold. Pizza that oily and dripping in oil it’s inedible.so called aioli can’t even get it out of the container. Both mushroom gravy’s tasted different. And killpatrick scallops tiny as very disappointed.
Staff were rude as all hell. Took 15 minutes to get a seated. I went to order drinks and the lady stacked all the dishwasher and put them away before serving us. Missed out on 2 keno games while waiting. But really liked the boy and the mita great service and super friendly. Pub loaf was great just no balsamic vinegar with the oil.
Took the girl 6 attempts to pour 1 schooner of beer.
I've always enjoyed coming here for a drink or for a meal. The staff are friendly and the service is great.
An acceptable place for Christmas lunch with a group or as a couple, as so many places are not open. Set menu to choose 3 courses from for just over $100 per person. Nice relaxing views of the waterfront. Totally acceptable and pleasant.
Nice location but Expensive drinks, Expensive food and the scallop Kilpatrick made me sick for days
Generous serving of the crumbed tasmanian scallops and i find it above average. The staff are also friendly and accomodating.
Just a "pub", so depends what you want.
Staff made mistakes with the menu - although they were very pleasant / food quite nice / lots of silly mistakes - but - as I said "it's a pub".
Why did I go? I was invited.
Not my choice.
Beautiful place to eat and fabulous food and omg the margarita pizza delicious definitely worth $14! The guys behind the bar were fabulous
Great location. A nice warm place on a rainy day looking at the yachts and views back across to the city. Also, friendly staff.
Meal choices are great. Good price. Lovely outlook over water when sitting on enclosed deck. Staff very friendly. Must to book
We've visited the Waterfront several times recently, and every time the food has been delicious. A great menu, that's not too big, means it's quick and enjoyable. Atmosphere is pleasant. Service could be improved, all staff are lovely, but it would be great to be checked back on and be asked whether we want more drinks or dessert. Overall a must for your belly.
Over priced. Bar is a stuffed up coffee shop. Turn it back into a hotel again and give the good staff something to work with.
We have previously had good meals but today the pork steak I ordered was undercooked being raw in the middle and the sweet potatoes puree was runny very disappointed
In this world nothing can be said to be certain except death, and a group of local old blokes drinking at Cbar.
Drinks are pretty stock standard. My partner had the parma which was good. I had the fish burger, the chips were good but the fish burger was inedible, it had a strange taste to it that was "not right. "
For drinks and the view it's a good choice.
Good food and VERY large portion sizes. Atmosphere was pleasant albeit aimed at an older crowd. All of the menu options have a standard price and senior discount price. The wait staff were helpful and friendly, would recommend.
It was a very nice place to have lunch the meals were great and the service was fantastic.
