Tullah Lakeside Lodge

We didn’t stay at the lodge but we were driving through from Launceston to Strahan and pulled in for some dinner which was amazing! The service was extremely friendly and hospitable. Greeted by beautiful, warm fireplaces and lakeside views. Loved the tree trunk pillars- they created such a cool atmosphere. Not far off the main Rd at all. Very spacious with ample parking. Our fishermen’s baskets were delicious and we were both surprised at the generosity of the tartare sauce.
Next time when in Tasmania we definitely plan to stay at this lodge a few nights.

Stayed here multiple times throughout 16-17. Have very fond memories, pool table, pub food, and kayaking on the lake.

I was there back in October 2020, I loved in then and I love it even more. The were very friendly and they were happy to help with everything to make sure you had a wonderful stay. Oh, and the food, yum and plenty of it for a big eater like myself. Will I go back! You betcha next trip is already planned.

Awesome place and one of my absolute favorites, food, games, and wow the views are simply breathtaking.

It is a comfortable lodge, not pretensious that offer a great experience into the west wilderness.

The food at the restaurant was great, tasty and big portions.
The grounds were lovely and I can only imagine how beautiful a wedding would be here.
Rooms were large enough and clean but 2 main things weren’t great.

The hot water tap even turned on full was literally a dribble and turning the cold water tap then gave pressure but it was freezing given the hot was only a trickle (see attached video *edit this won’t upload so I’ve just screen shot the hot water tap turned fully on). I’m not sure if this was normal or not.

The room walls are paper thin, so the assumed mine worker’s morning alarm at 4.30am which I could hear him snoring through until I knocked on his door at 4.50am (I felt so rude but also assumed he might be late for work).
I then heard every noise he made while getting ready (down to using the bathroom and even doing up his fly). I’m not sure if the workers could be purposefully placed in the same cabins.

Food was average and expensive, bed was lumpy and rock hard and called reception in regards to having no hot water for the spa or shower. Wasn't fixed. Showered when we got home 4 hours after checking out

Decided to drop in for lunch and this place never let me down. Quality and flavour of chicken burger was great and so was the portion.

Best part of our stay was the beautiful, peaceful lake and birds calling out through the day. We were promised an upgrade to a balcony room via their facebook page. When we arrived, they retracted this. If you say you will upgrade someone, do it. Very poor to fall back on this. Noisy rooms too. Sound travels easily. But we had a fun night at the pub and beautiful nature surronds with lots to do nearby!

Awesome place with view on the lake, rendu for weddings or partys. Its a chill coffee with ice cream, coffee, ciders from tassie, just relax and enjoy!

Food was great, atmosphere is friendly. We had a great time and had plenty of activities to keep us busy. Sight seeing, bush walking and kayaking on the lake in front of the lodge. Rooms are surprisingly comfortable for the price.
It is a hidden gem.

Most beautiful pub I have ever ever been to. And giant chess! Perfect for sunset. Huge delicious meals lovely staff.

Lovely place to stay, old but very clean and comfortable, excellent location, views from the room, great gardens

A great stop on our travels, a good room, and restuarant, the portions were huge! The staff very helpfull with information about our surroundings and places to see along the way.

Loved the view at Tullah Lakeside Lodge, outside tables overlooking the lake. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I had the Parmigiana, the serving was huge at $24, chips were a bit on the cold side, but the snitty remained hot and crips until finished. Overall a good experience.

Beautiful lakeside location with extremely tired and dated rooms. No airconditioning, terrible wi-fi, no insect screens, one small pedestal fan. Would definitely not return.

Awesome. We slept in our car and had a private bathroom ensuite.very clean.lots of workers for the night. Nice restaurant and bar with delicious food.free WiFi in restaurant but isn't working very well everywhere.would definetely stay there again.

Would of given this place 5 stars.the lady's who run it are sensational.but to the young guy with beard behind bar. Who I think is a relative of someone who runs or owns ii.please pull your head in.people at bar waiting to be served. He's polishing wine glass. Looks up and tells everyone won't be long.then continues to polish his wine glass.unbelievable pull your head in. U wouldn't get a job anywhere else cleaning toilets.with your attitude.

Beautiful view over lake while enjoying coffee and scones. Homemade scones were terrific but unfortunately coffee was just average.

Lovely location beautiful views and clean budget rooms and friendly staff but spoilt by the stink of smokers in all areas.rooms.halls.and the gardens with a view which we could not enjoy because smokers were allowed in an eating area.spoilt our experience but seems common in Tasmania
