We stayed for a night (powered site).
This would be our first time to have a proper shower. Morning came and within 2 minutes the water turned into freezing water. I had just put on body wash and my head was full of shampoo. I waited 5 minutes with freezing feet as there was no bath mat. Still no warm water. I had to get dressed and used my kettle water in my camper van to wash my hair.
When we told the receptionist, she had NO compassion at all and said “you guys flew through it” - when matter of fact we didn’t. Then blamed the previous users (how is that useful?). Even if the gas tank was full, it certainly was not working.
Its the start of May and freezing. So I hope the next visitors have a better time.

Great place to stop over. We had a powered site that had excellent views of the lake and the bar and meals were great. Would definitely recomend

Didn't stay only came to eat at the Cafe. Reasonable price and large meals. Staff could probably be a bit nicer and more welcoming but the food was great.

What a transformation! 8 years ago a dinghy but wonderful place with amazing views from the gardens. Now the bistro/pub has been updated and brightened up

Hidden gem for us with a motorhome. Good site, amenities and food. Friendly, professional staff.

Hidden at the rear of the old Hydro village in Tullah is what l can only describe as a very unassuming, hidden surprise.

The car park, cabins & reception entrance is what first greets you, although it does not have the greatest street appeal, once you step through the front door your whole perception changes.

The modern but rustic look suits the environment with a large stone fireplace in action and pieces of history scattered about the bar room and grounds.

There is plenty of indoor & outdoor seating for anyone wanting to dine, have a beer or just to catchup after work whilst working away from home.

The view out over the lake whilst the sun is setting is spectacular as was the size of the meals that were delivered in record time. For a party of 5, all the meals arrived within minutes of each other.

Recommend coming in early as the crowd that lined up to order meals made accessing the facilities a little difficult. Overcrowding due to the layout of the restaurant and bar is problematic as is the noise level.

This is a very popular establishment and we can see why.
4 Stars here tonight. If you are passing through Tullah well worth stopping in to fill your belly.

Best thing about this place is the views from the restaurant. Our room was clean and bed comfy, but my dinner was not hot and our breakfast order was completely wrong. I regret not paying more and staying elsewhere.

Paid for room with Lake View, but the room we got had no view at all (view to an old shabby building) Disapointed!
No Internet connection.

Extremely unique location. A little hidden gem for accommodation. Amazing food in the beautiful bar with the wood work.
Very cheap accommodation for what you get.
Highly recommend breakfast

Small but comfortable rooms, suited for cooler weather as one window was boarded up, no mosquito nets - fan for cooling, plate heater for heating. I think we stayed in the renovated newer rooms for two.

Otherwise, lovely location on the lakeside, generous camp-hall style dining and sense of community. Kayak rental very reasonable ($10/h or $20/up to 4h).

Awesome meal, awesome service.

From the front desk to the bar and wait staff, bloody awesome!

The food, WOW! The chicken "Parmigiana" Satay, cheese, bacon an satay sauce, unusual but works a treat.

Massive serve

My only complaint, the name.

If it hasn't got parmigiana sauce it is not a parmigiana, change the name!

That was a awesome chicken schnitzel satay!

A work in progress, this lodge has stunning views and will be a wonderful place to stay and use as a base for day trips.
We were glad to get a room as it is always booked out, by the mining community. Once covid allows for our borders to be permanently reopened I assume work will continue on the landscaping down to the waters edge and on upgrading the rooms.
A former hydro village the accommodation is basic but adequate, not sure where the miners will stay when tourists want it but you do what you have to in difficult times. The restaurant is fantastic, great food and service and I will stay again.

This super dog friendly location is great for camping in a roof top tent or camper van. They have warm showers and flushing toilets for campers.

You can hire a kayak, and take your dogs out on the water with you, loads of fun!

The staff are friendly and helpful, the meals are huge, and they have a great vegetarian parmigiana.

It was a little bit noisy because there were lots of kids staying when I stayed, and lots of tradies who woke up early to go to work.

Came here twice. The location and the staff were excellent but the rooms were just ok. The restaurant feel warm and comfy, the food were good, and the service was great.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Pub meal was good value and sitting by the big fire was very relaxing. Would be a great place to start a bush walk.
