Nice little restaurant with a good takeaway selection and desserts including Gelato and tarts/cakes. Nice helpful staff. Prices are a little high for pasta but it's high quality food. Good veggetarian selection as well. Will definitely go back for more.

This place seems pretty busy but most people have the food takeaway and I think I know why! When you microwave pasta it just doesn’t taste that good! And the staff brought out fettuccine boscaiola, they said it came with red sauce! First time ever it hasnt come out with white sauce! The waitress tried to convince us that red sauce is the norm but unfortunately we know better

INCREDIBLE PASTA. I am a small 60kg 5.5ft local Tassie girl and I eat three mains in one sitting because it's so good. Recommend literally every dish on the menu. Best local secret in Launceston. BEST.

Great service from the team. Took advantage of their catering menu. Fed the work team of 15 for dinner and had left overs for lunch the next day.

Food was nice, but presentation could be improved. Staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely make a good takeaway lunch.

Best place to grab pasta from in Launceston! I go in on the regular and the food and service is always amazing, never leave disappointed. On my third loyalty card, so can definitely recommend.

What a great place fantastic fresh pasta also the specials are so yummy service is very good for a little busy place like this anyone visit Launceston should try.

I ate at the pasta merchant tonight 30/08/2018 and was utterly disgusted and ate luke warm tasteless food, when telling staff this a young man told my partner “well there is plenty of other people eating” and didn’t offer an apology. I now feel sick to my stomach from my like warm re heated chicken

Scott came in on a Sunday to make pasta meals for 44 hockey players and delivered them to our accomadation so we could eat at 10pm after traveling from Darwin to Launceston and they where wonderful. Thanks Scott

Tastes like microwaved pasta for a reason. A thin layer of sauce on a big tub of pasta. Not great unfortunately.

Dropped by for dinner based on reviews and I am not disappointed. All the food are reasonably priced. I had seafood marinara fettuccine with cream sauce and it was heavenly. Good for families but parking lots are limited. Lots of walk-in customers who ordered takeaways while I was here. Thumbs up for good food, service and serving size.

Great, fresh, house made pasta spun up for you with the sauce of your choice within a few minutes. The garlic bread is a great little treat.

This is a good option if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful dinner. It seems to be avery popular takeaway spot for locals - but we opted to eat in. It's not fine dining - the food is pre-prepared and heated up in a microwave, but it was surprisingly good. The pasta was al dente and the sauces were tasty. We ordered a couple of pasta meals, a salad and a gelato and it came to about $20 per head - very reasonable.
