The Elimatta Hotel

Good family friendly restaurant with bar, decent menu, book ahead if you plan a night with a few on a weekend.
Front V Bar is small but great, couple of couch chairs, few stools and tiny smokers area.
Next door gaming area.
Back bar has couple of pool tables, small smokers area and TAB area.

Food was ok.very over priced for pub food.new menu has not much choice.and now you have to buy a salad as an extra.bit stingy i think.plenty of empty tables on a saturday night should tell you something.

A good relaxed place beside the Mersey River at Devonport. At times can observe the Spirit of Tasmania leaving for Melbourne. Good food.

Food is alright, nothing special, totally overpriced that’s for sure. Just met a friend there, would never come back here by myself. Much better options near by. Sorry.

Food is average I the bistro and overpriced for what you get which is great if that’s what you want. Much better meals at better value elsewhere in town. Disappointing.

There’s a 2 course meal and I decide to order chicken curry with rice and apple crumble for $15. It’s pretty reasonable price I must say but the chicken was extremely disappointed. I finished my meal coz I hate food wasting but grow up in Asia I know what Curry’s are. What I get is creamy sauce pretty much taste like bechamel with turmeric maybe a cashew. However, the apple crumble was good and I love it.

We had lunch today, a roast and the dish was outstanding. Well prepared, good portion and reasonable priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant clean and amenities clean too. Wheelchair accessible parking. Beautiful view of the Mersey River Devonport

Had a lovely meal at the Elimatta hotel, been a long time since we have been there, service was excellent, food was great will definitely go back. Great place to watch the boat leave for Melbourne.

Great place to dine. Great meals and nicely done up with those Golden Views of the Mersey and Spirit of Tasmania coming in or going out.
