Absolutely loved our experience. Mariana was fantastic. The perfect amount of knowledge of the wine and a fantastic customer service.

This is a larger scale winery but still great wines. Make sure you navigate to the Tamar Ridge Cellar Door or you'll be 20 minutes away at their wine making facility. Whoops. They were still able to accommodate our reservation - appreciate that!

My boyfriend and I had a great exchange with Steve today who was super entertaining and knowledgeable about the wines we sampled. He also was a great photographer!

Lovely place to do some tastings. Our sommelier had great knowledge on the product, production and local area. Loved the stories of the various wines and their unique flavours.

Looking forward to returning in the summer.

We had a fantastic experience at the Cellar Door, where we were taken through a lovely wine tasting with Terrence, and enjoying a cheese board. We learnt a lot about the wine and it's making process from him:) We went in the middle of winter, and we had a great time!

Visited last month, after stops at Stoney Rise and Marion’s Vineryard. If I could replay the day, we would’ve gone home after Marion’s, as the service at Tamar Ridge was simply terrible.
There are good views here and the wine is ok.

Went to the cellar around 10: 40 Am this morning and received very unfriendly service from the tasting area staff (not sure his name, sounds like Tarren). He asked what would you like guys wanted and sound impatient. Gave us the cheapest tasting price and we were realised later after about to go back to car that, there are more options. Also asked him if there will be food serve in premises, he reply with quick NO.

During testing he just watch, not talking, lean back while checking mobile phone, point on the tasting menu what we tasted.

Even though good view however so far the worst winery cellar I ever experience.

We had the best experience at Tamar Ridge, the service was amazing. We were visiting from Melbourne for the weekend and the staff took the time to talk us through the wines and were so friendly and accomodating. They even gave us other recommendations for Launceston. Would definitely visit again!

One of the waitstaff walked into a glass door like a bird.
We have come here before and my old man had a senior moment and rebooked us. Mother’s Day and it was only at half capacity. Wine and views are good, but everything else is abysmal. The best part about this place is getting a buzz and having a good laugh about the food and service.
Food platters are expensive for what you get and come out with minimal amounts. The introduction of the food by the waitstaff was “not interesting” and specified that they were separate from the food caterers. As another review mentions, she loves the word “darling”. The other waitstaff walked into the window which is forgivable but much too funny not to mention.
After 3-4 years of bad reviews it might be time for brown brothers to do something about the cellar door as it does the wine a disservice.

Poor form. We went here after trying a wine the night before in a nearby town, but the service was abysmal (21 March). The lady who "walked" us through the wine was rude and unpleasant. Reminded us multiple times they were a part of Brown Brothers and told us to "Google it" when we asked about the specific sparkling making process. Another lady overheard and tried to make things better, but I think we were served by the manager so she backed away. This winery became the reference point for the rest of our trip "what is worse, the service at Tamar Ridge, or. " And Tamar Ridge was always the worst! The additional star is only because the wine was decent. Go to Marion's and Stoney Ridge over here!

Nice winery on a hill overlooking the Tamar river. They have a few different tasting options. We chose the bar tasting, which didn’t include any of their high priced wines. I really enjoyed their sparkling wines and ended up buying one after the tasting. The employee gave us a discount since we did a wine tasting, which was really nice!

Lovely spot. Attitude of the service staff is atrocious. Arrogant. Obviously don’t value their customers. We won’t be back.

Having never done a wine tasting before, the lady helping us by explaining everything diligently and guiding us through the experience. Quiet on a Friday afternoon with delicious wines, lovely views and service.

Normally we love this place, however today there was a rude, grumpy man working in the Cellar door. He wasn’t treating the other staff member with respect, and overall made the experience much less enjoyable. As usual the food was great.

Poor service from the dithering guy at the counter this morning. No welcome and made to feel not welcome at all.

Did the wine, spirit and culinary tour here, and it was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the tasting was certainly inclusive, and the food delicious and generous. A neat little insight into the workings of a distillery!

We arrived at 4.20 and were told “ you are late we are closing at 4.30” even though the sign outside said 5 pm closed.our host made us feel uncomfortable and the experience wasn’t pleasant. Our tastings were extremely small and as for value for money it was very poor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sham on you Tamar Ridge. Lift your game

Well what a dissapoint this was after a lovely afternoon at various wineries. Arrived at 4: 20 and was greeted with "well your a bit late we are closing at 4: 30" sign & prior research stated 5pm close. We were given 5 TINY tastes for $20. We thought Tamar Ridge would be a lovely place to finish a great day but left feeling how rude and unwelcoming was that. Would NOT recommend this vineyard.
