Great location for port Arthur penal colony and the three capes. Also did a boat cruise. All Wonderful.
The cabins are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant has good food and looks out at the bay.

Great accommodation on beautiful location. There's everything you need for cooking with a small groceries shop nearby.

Beautiful cabins in a relaxing setting. The hotel staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant was well run & staff friendly & provided good service. Magic location.

Stayed here for 2 nights between Christmas & New Year.
Staff are friendly, hospitable & helpful. Location is great, restaurant is nearby with good food (tho a bit pricy). The driveway between cabins & parking spots are on a slope. The one bedroom cabin is huge, very clean (didn't see any bugs or spider webs or mossies), decent kitchen & washing machine.

One star taken off from the dim of lighting, it's a wooden cabin with very dim lighting, which makes it very dark and dull. Be careful of birds/ possoms on the roof at night. Also, where our car was parked ended up with a lot of bugs stuck on the roof, which we had to remove with a high pressure cleaner in town.

The flavour was quite good, but the serves were comedically small. The service was very slow but I think during these times that should be expected. The risotto is the stand out dish by far.

Beautiful setting with great views. For main course we had kimchi, which was a bit dry, and also wallaby which was very well cooked.
Chocolate brownie for dessert was delicious and we'll presented.
Front of house staff let this place down, in my opinion. They could have sold us more drinks if they were paying attention and I twice tried to flag someone down to say we were ready for our desserts and ended up having to go to the bar to get someone's attention. The restaurant wasn't overly busy so this was a bit disappointing.

A great location, the water views etc were serene and peaceful. The food was delicious (especially the deserts) and the service was happy and cheerful.

The setting is superb but unfortunately, once again, the breakfast experience was let down by poor service, unimaginative presentation of pretty ordinary fare and an obvious lack of kitchen planning. The team is quite unable to get meals out in reasonable time, plus cold plates, barely hot coffee and lack of care in deboning the smoked salmon. Yes, they were dealing with large numbers and more staff should have been available but the bookings could have been staggered more efficiently.
Very poor altogether.

Great location, walking distance to Port Arthur, cabins clean, well appointed, and not located too close to each other.

Fantastic place to stay and visit Port Arthur. You can walk along the foreshore directly into Port Arthur

My latest visit was as a day time guest.
In the past I have stayed here overnight for a wedding.
The accommodation is of a reasonable standard but very much fitting in with the natural surroundings.
It was an easy walk to the white sandy beach at the front of the units.
The food was exceptional and the service was top rate.
The site is very secluded but on the down side it is very shaded.
It makes for a great base to use for exploring the many local attractions including the Port Arthur historic site.
A great place to chill out and enjoy.

Great place to stay! Conveniently located in the Port Arthur area. The cottage we got was comfortable and had a nice view of the waterfront!

Great little place. The cabins are quite comfortable and full of natural light. The staff is great. There were seals playing by the beach at night. The restaurant on site is excellent.

The food was decent, though the service was poor. Possibly short-staffed that day but we had a long wait, the wrong food delivered to our table and then a problem with overcharging on the bill also.

Lovely cabins, views and a great bay. Pricing felt pretty good to me (by mainland standards), for what you get it's a great deal.
