St Ives Apartments

Never going back again.
Check out is at 10am, cleaner already walked in at 9: 20am while I’m in the shower.
You HAVE to check out by 10 ON THE DOT.
There are better other place to stay like Wrest Point, where they don’t pressure you to check out ON THE DOT.
Plus we never got the friendly welcome customer service since we checked in.

The rooms are clean. Very quiet. I couldn't comment on the service, as I didn't ask for any. I've stayed here before as it's very central. Half way between Hobart and Sandy Bay.

A great value apartment in a beautiful part of Hobart. Only a short walk to cafes, restaurants and markets. The apartment is spacious and comfortable but not luxurious.

Great central place just 5 min walk from Salamanca markets and restaurants. Rooms are OK, close to shops and bottle shop.

It was roomy, clean and had everything. Very very happy with our stay. Staff were lovely - especially the housekeeping staff who were awesome

Consequently feel qualified to compile a review.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - comfortable / great location / great staff / and spotless.

Nice place to stay tidy and clean rooms and friendly staff. Accommodation only but the rooms have a kitchenette where you can cook basic things. There is a bottle shop about 20 metres out the main entrance which is handy

Stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2022. Good location - within walking distance to shops restaurants between Salamanca and Sandy Bay. Rooms come with free parking which is great - does get pretty full in the evening but can't complain.

Rooms are clean and tidy, with a well equipped kitchen.

Staff are quite friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

In a good location and easy to acess. Is clean and basic. Giving it 3 star because the aircon smelled absolutely foul when running.

Serviced apartments - no minibar/snacks provided, but has a cooktop & utensils so you can make your own meals (tea and coffee provided tho). All good if you don't want to cook tho, heaps of restaurants nearby. There's a bottlo next door & supermarkets a 5 min walk down the road. This place doesn't do shower gel, just bar soap, so if you prefer gel bring or buy your own. Reception team are great! Keep a room key on you at all times - if you lock yourself out after 9pm you'll be charged a callout fee for security to let you back in. Free wifi, TV, comfy beds, good sized rooms.

I have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable. The reception staff are most efficient and helpful. I can highly recommend St Ives to anyone looking for a good value stay in Hobart.

Such comfort, nice spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, couldn't ask for more. And the friendly and helpful staff made it a pleasurable stay. Will definitely come back

Really Enjoyed our Accommodation at St Ives Hobart, easy parking, nice view and Very clean Apartments.

Stayed on level one in a deluxe superior studio. Room was modern and spacious with a nice bathroom, large TV, lovely balcony with comfy bed for a fair price. Had views of the bridge and river at night. Would stay here again. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and wharf/markets. Parking was alright, plenty of spots, a little narrow but no real complaint. Asked for a late checkout and was provided without issue.

Very nice rooms with great views. Unfortunately no restaurant or room service. Good amenities in room.

Big room, comfortable, Foxtel included as well cooking facilities! Friendly helpful staff, nice walk to town through Battery Point, definitely stay again

Misadvertised. Pics look a whole lot better than than the tired 80’s place.
Our room already had people in it and we we shunted to a room on the street and next to the lift, where the terrible acoustics allowed all sorts of noises, including air conditioning. It felt a place wheee hope goes to die.
Such a shame we chose this among the many vibrant places in Hobart
