First time diners, after confirming our booking we mentioned to the waitress that the hand sanitiser at the entrance was empty. She said she would fix it up. My steak was a little overcooked, I requested medium rare but it was medium. On leaving the restaurant 1.5 hours later, we went to use the hand sanitizer on leaving only to find it had not been replaced since we had mentioned it was empty. For a venue to mention on their website that they request patrons use the sanitizer upon entering, I find this very annoying, frustrating & worrying in today's covid climate.

Large spacious dining area with a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food is scrumptious and the portions are generous enough to fill you up.

Ordered a double Abli burger.
A little taken back by the price. But they sure do deliver.
With prompt friendly service and a flawless meal.

All the chips were crispy and well seasoned.
Enough sauce to coat every chip.
Patties cooked medium well and seasoned perfectly.
Plenty of cheese and sauce in the burger.

Definitely coming back to try more of the menu.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had, traveling in Tasmania during New Year holiday, booked a reservation at 9pm on the last day of 2020, appetizer came really quick, but the main dish only came around 10pm, after 17mins, one of the waitresses kept asking “How’s the food” for every 5 mins, and been pushing us by questioning have you finished etc. We asked for some tissue and she said they didn’t have any of tissue but they can give us some of those— couple of napkins. ARENT THEY THE SAME THING? WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. DO NOT GO!

Came here for a late lunch/early dinner and they were open! Very good service and lovely atmosphere. It's great to see there was a choice for the appetizer to make it a bigger portion/light main. We ended up having the roasted lamb shoulder for sharing with two sides of choice. Quite a big portion for two people so we doggie bagged it. Overall very good experience and will be back to try other things on the menu as well as the dessert!

Dined here a couple of hrs ago. Too busy, too noisy & the service was slow. The Cajun fish was dry & tasteless. The banoffee tart was like rubber. Our other guests also had issues with their dining.

My favourite restaurant, I recommend St Albi to all of my friends and family. Best food I’ve had, best service I’ve had, you do pay a reasonable amount for it, but it’s well worth it in my opinion.

Steak is phenomenal, the wait staff might need a bit more attention to the customers though and the Negroni was off tasting.still a great meal though

Four of us dined here for lunch, one couple old hands and our hosts and us, the Newbies. They said the steaks were great, and they were. Wagyu steaks with a coffee rub and cooked to each diners liking, they were excellent. The flavour was some of the best, and tender. The 4 sides ordered and shared were great also. The service was extra good and they did everything they could to cater to our individual requests. Recommended.

Staff Christmas party - the lamb on the fixed platter menu was absolutely amazing. Place was full, so a bit noisy and bustly, but the food was so good it's not hard to see why.

Not impressed. If you order a hot meal it should come to you ' HOT'. Not cold. Also, if that table has ordered the meals all should come out together. One thing that really bothers me is when you have Dessert, they give you a dessert spoon. How about a fork to help one get the mouth full onto the spoon.
Chasing ones food around the plate, is simply not acceptable.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Had a large group and they were more than happy to serve us at late notice and bring drinks over to us.

Food and service is first class and the building is awesome. The Cox Steak with Coffee Rub is Devine.

Was introduced to this great restaurant by a dear friend. Beautiful food the BEST steak you could ever wish for. Returned for our second visit a few weeks later. We wish to sing the praises of the staff member Dwayne. What exemplary service, knowledge and all round lovely person. If we could give a higher star rating for him we would. St Albi, what an asset he is to your establishment. Hold onto this one. We will definitely be back.

The portions are American in size, but sadly American in quality. The service was affable and competant. I had a lamb dish, a bit over-glooped in sauce served on an in-edible glomp of last year's rice. The meat (aside from the gloop) was tender & otherwise very nice.

Great staff, great vibe. Had the lamb rack - was lovely! Was disappointed that 1 member in our group seemed to be invisible, was not offered a second drink.

Awesome deck to chill out with a cold beer in your hand. This is now one of my favourite bar to relax.

The atmosphere is comfortable, with dim mood lighting and spacious dining areas. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with one member helping our group take photos. I ate their Wagyu beef burger that was a gourmet interpretation of a McDonald's big mac. It captured all the enticing flavours that make a big mac so endearing, but with a gourmet edge.

Expect to spend $30+ here per person. Food is worth the asking price, however.

Highly recommend, pleasant dining experience.

If you are in Tassie and crave a good steak, here's a find. St Albi's in Moonah. Exceptionally good menu, great staff, nice wine selection and reasonably priced. This gives Squires & Rockpool a run for its money. Recommend the Cox coffee rub on your choice of steak, amazing. The duck fat potatoes are also a must do. 5 stars and worth more.
