Not worth the trip north of the Flannellette Curtain

We got a voucher as a Christmas present so came down for dinner. Food was great and staff were friendly and it was really quick. It was hard to hear the staff so when they told us the specials that didn't clearly say what was the entree and main so I unfortunately had a very small dinner.might be good to turn the music down a bit or have a print out etc for people to read as it's quite loud in there when it's full!

Very enjoyable evening, great looking place, awesome atmosphere, great service and more importantly, food was great. Highly recommend.

The place has its own unique features. The staffs are friendly and open to feedbacks. The food is okay as well.

However, I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic dinner with your partner as it's too busy for that purpose. The restaurant was very crowed during my visit and there were lots of moving around by staffs.

Lighting diffused enough to see what you are eating but also low enough to feel intimate and comfortable. Adorable, knowledgeable young waiter who had an excellent grasp of both the menu and the wine list. Just extraordinary. Just adore. The intricacy in flavour within one dish. Love love love St Albi

I like the atmosphere, I liked the music, I liked the service and I loved the food. We felt welcomed and looked after, and not harrassed. The music good and wasn't too loud and neither were the other customers, even though it was really busy. I had the JP steak and duck fat potatoes. It was the best steak I've had in Hobart for a long time. Even the lemon lime & bitters was something special. We will definitely be back.

Palpably it is an idyllic dining experience. I mean 46 dollars for a steak you expect the steak to take you home and rub your back with peppermint oil but this is beside the point. This place is teeming with DILFs. Even the waiters are mostly of this variety.

We had a nice meal here last night. Meal was tasty, service was good. It's a little more expensive than other local restaurants, but if you want fine dining it's right up there.

Service and food was impeccable, haven't been able to get to TAS in 2years, always make a point of coming to St Albi, still top notch, try the coffee rubbed steak, you won't regret it, thanks StAbli team A+

Place was nice. We did not eat so I'm not rating based on the food.
We had one starter of roasted duck fat potatoes - 4stars.
Cocktails - 3stars. Price of cocktails was not justified by the quality of cocktails we received. Yes it was pretty but no kick despite costing $20+. Therefore overall rating is a 4.

The food was devine! If you're getting a steak, try the coffee rub (does not have a coffee flavour) Friendly staff, quick service and a lovely atmosphere

Great venue for lunch, dinner or just a drink. Sit inside or outside, lots of space. Modern menu with excellent Tassie wines available to choose from. Book in advance as this restaurant is popular!

The location is deceiving for such a cool place. When I walked in the doors I was mind blown!
The service was amazing, atmosphere 10/10, cocktails on point (my fav Gin Sloe Sour) and the food to die for. Great for any occasion: date night, friends catch up, family dinner, birthday you name it!
