You pay for the location, not so much the room. Excellent location with great views however the room leaves a little to desire, for example the location of the AC means while downstairs is at a desired temp, the bedroom upstairs is very hot and the ceiling fan isn't enough to make up for it.

The TV in our room had very poor reception so couldn't watch anything and you would expect a dedicated bath/shower at the price point. Provide a single tiny sachel for detergent was a bit cheap too I found. I don't feel at this price you should be expected to find a grocer to buy enough detergent.

Best and most interesting place to stay in Hobart. Wonderful seafood restaurants, clothing shops, museums, sea tours etc etc ️

Convenient location to all things Hobart but not ideal on a Friday and Saturday night if you want a good nights sleep after a long day. Listened to the bass from a nearby nightclub for half the night wasn’t ideal. For the hefty price of the rooms they could do with a bit of an update. Hot water was barely warm, Paint flaking off walls and the furniture needs an update. Lounge very uncomfortable and bed side tables had chunks taken out of the top. Hair on bathroom walls and toilet kept running after flushing. I think a midweek stay would be more relaxing and being self contained is a bonus.

Great location, limited parking, good heating, average bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. A little face lift would make this place more desirable. Many restaurants in walking distance.

The room was not cleaned well, the spa did not work and looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. We requested the room to be serviced and the bedding changed and this was not done. Overall very disappointed and will not stay again or recommend to anyone else

We were very lucky to stay here during the conclusion Sydney to Hobart yacht race. We only have one night here, but it just so happened to be timed perfectly with the Super-maxi's finish the race. We had a balcony view facing Constitution Dock, so we just watch the boats come in from our balcony with was a once in a lifetime experience. We really enjoyed our stay here as a family. Having the washer and dryer was convenient! Views and location were stunning, right next to the Salamanca markets and Constitution Dock, right in the heart of the action in Hobart. Stayed here with my family Staff were super friendly. Couldn't recommend staying here more! I will be back for sure during my next trip to Hobart.

For a premier location right on the pier we would have expected better. Friendly staff however, mould in bathroom, Water temperature would not stay constant in shower, aircon did not work. Above all the Restaurant downstairs had music gong until midnight everynight, which we could hear despite the double glazed windows. In a word disappointing

A perfect place to stay in Hobart, close to the markets, restaurants, Mt Wellington and the city. The marina views from the balcony rooms are lovely, otherwise you have non-balcony rooms with a view Mt Wellington. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. There is so much on offer within walking distance of this place. Would highly recommend.

Over rated
Air-conditioner sounds like a jet aircraft.
Next door room might as well been in the same room as there is a door at the bottom of the stairs in the room
Room was NOT worth $400.

Quite literally the loudest hotel in Australia.
You check in and the view is great, next minute you can hear the person in the room next door talking to their mate on the phone clear as day because it’s an interconnected room that they didn’t mention to you at all, then as the sun goes down it gets even worse.
The music from the bars and restaurants on the pier drones all night and you think that maybe there is a festival going on you didn’t know about but no just the bar, and you can hear the AirCon of the room next door humming long as you try get some form of sleep. You manage to get to sleep maybe around 1 or 2am then the bars take out the rubbish and you hear the bottles clang as they throw them into the bin this disturbs the seagulls that are perched on top of hotel, they scurry around, carry on and it sounds like you’ve got a possum on your roof then 5am hits and the boats decide it’s time to toot a horn as they pull in. What a way to end your one hour sleep. I’ve stayed in 18 person backpacker dorms that are quieter than this place. The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the bed is comfy which is great when you spend 8 just trying to get some sleep.

Spacious, well appointed rooms. Friendly, helpful, obliging staff. Kitchen a little small if you wanted to create a home cooked meal. Be careful of the rooms on the end of the building. People exiting the emergency doors tend to let the doors slam and an almighty concussion resounds through the room.

Fantastic location, large rooms with a spectacular view. Very easily catered for with our toddler. Great service. We will be back!

Excellent serviced apartment living, and the views from the room were spectacular. Expect smells of the ocean when you arrive.

I had to look up the word Shoji, which are those Japanese walls that are made of paper. Why? Cause staying here is like staying in 16th century Japan except they didn't have, noisy neighbours, lapping Holden hoons and Hobart's only nightclub keeping you up all night.

If you're the sort of person who can sleep through at bush doofs then this is the place for you.

The rooms themselves were decent, I liked the loft, massive (but noisy) Heater. The biggest draw for this place is definitely the location. Right next to the MONA ferries, and Salamanca.

If you have a hearing impairment this place is for you. But I'd like my 12 hours of lost sleep back.
