Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park

My wife and I stayed here on our Honeymoon for a night in 2012 after one of our pre-booked accommodations fell through. We honestly enjoyed it here more than our fancier, more expensive accommodations! Very friendly staff and nice, quiet area. It's next to beautifully still waters and an informative bushfire memorial. Lovely place to walk around. Not too far from Snug Falls. We still reminisce about our time here 7 years later.:)

Lovely park. Amenities clean and neat. Kitchen facilities terrific, well supplied, fully enclosed room, warm, tv.

Good communal camp kitchen. Clean facilities. Close to the ferry to Bruny Island. We stayed on an unpowered site which allowed us to spread out a bit up the back. Otherwise typical caravan park, all vans next to each other. No playground for young kids.

This place is really nice. First class amenities. A terrific location right on the water. Indoor camp kitchen with barbecues, a wifi station, seating, even a combustion heater for chilly Tasmanian nights. Laundry with four washing machines and four dryers. Nice level parking sites. IGA supermarket just up the road, with a couple of fast food shops thrown in. No slabs, but the grass is ok. Close to the centre of Hobart, around 20 klicks. Would return without a worry.

Very nice management the park obviously receives a lot of love and care from its owners. Close to the beach as well which is a nice bonus.

Spent 3 nights here over Australia Day. Not impressed that toilets were not cleaned until 3 pm. And after I checked toilets found pubic hair on top of the toilet system where the button is to flush. I asked management only to be told staff are busy cleaning cabins first.

Pricey: 30 AUD $ for an unpowered tent site, 1 person. Clean camp kitchen, slow but free wifi, 500 MB limit. Close to the water, swimming possible.

Nice vibe, quiet, safe and very green. The cabin was very clean and had every furniture and appliance that could be needed.

We had stayed there for three night, well presented room including kitchen, cooking stuff, refrigerator, attached bathroom and laundry service, I found staff very polite friendly, reasonable price, I recommend. Thank you Snug beach cabin caravan team. Hopefully see you next time.

Its in a Beautiful location with great access to the beach and other attractions. There is hot food etc withing a 10 to 15 minute walk away if fit.

Great little place, we stayed at the unpowered site and had lots of room to spread out and we found it fairly private too, not too many people. Plenty of facilities and an IGA just up the road. Would definitely go back.

Thankyou for our lovely stay! Friendly, helpful staff, clean, easy to access facilities - perfect. We walked along Snug beach, lunched at Kettering, enjoyed a beer up at the Tavern and a quiet evening at the park. Bliss.:)

Great place, we came to the park without planning it and without a booking as part of a road trip. Everything you need, clean and well kept, a great little place!

Awesome place to stay. It is by the beach. Facilities are really good and staff are really friendly.

Awesome small caravan park. Lovely clean modern showers, toilets & great laundry with washers & dryers & tables for folding. The camp kitchen is an enclosed room with everything you could want, including bbqs. The wood stove is an added bonus with wood supplied. Friendly owners who couldn't help enough.

Called up late in the afternoon on a long weekend and was able to get an unpowered site no worries. Ammenities were clean. Location is great
