We stayed in the "Roaring Tom's" 2 bedroom apartment, very beautiful apartment, perfect location with amazing views

Perfect stay. Attention to detail 10/10. The communal bar area and gardens were amazing, and great guest laundry to tidy up after a few days on the road. Easy walking distance to everything, and bumped into our host Alistair at the local Wine bar.
Highly recommend!

The shared rooms were a surprise asset. Beautifully furnished and obviously take great pride in what you do.

Any and all other hotel rooms I ever stay in again won't live up to the standard, nor attention to detail.

Although the quality, boutique rooms were well appointed and beautiful, the stand out experience for us was meeting the owners and designers, Kerry and Alistair. Their warmth and generosity made the accommodation and surrounding gardens, exquisitely enjoyed.

The highlight of our Tasmanian holiday was Ship Inn, Stanley.
The attention to detail was next level, which did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated.
I especially loved the gift of socks and made good use of them.
The bread was amazing!

Absolutely stunning place to stay in Stanley. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the accommodation and gardens and common areas. Breakfast provisions were lovely too. Recommend without hesitation.

We loved our 2 nights at the Ship Inn. Our room was beautiful, luxurious, comfortable and yet still homely. And it smelt amazing. We highly recommend it to anyone travelling up to Stanley

The Ship Inn exceeded expectations. Everything about it was 5 star - we were in Cape Grim which has a lovely little balcony. The cleanliness and attention to detail were outstanding as was the delicious continental breakfast provided daily. Recommendations regarding dining options were appreciated and we enjoyed dinners at both the Stanley Hotel Bistro and Hursey’s Seafood. The Ship Inn was definitely a highlight of our trip to Tasmania.

Picture perfect small boutique accommodation, beautiful attention to detail and provisions, with an awesome spot and outlook back across the bay in ever so quaint Stanley, very happy we had the opportunity to stay and would definitely come back if in the region. Loved it

We stayed 3 nights in the Cape Grim room. What a delight, beautifully decorated, cleverly furnished with a fantastic bed, roomy sitting area for two. The table and chairs out front with views to the beach and sea, a great place to watch the sun go down. An utter surprise is the stunning garden out the back, again clever landscaping and planting on a challenging steep block with The Nut as a back drop.wow!

Loved everything about this place - beautiful rooms, garden and common areas. Very special, an absolute credit to the owners!

We loved discovering the picturesque town of Stanley and Ship Inn is the perfect place to enhance your experience of the town. The attention to detail in the rooms and shared spaces is exquisite, we would love to have stayed longer.

Such a divine place to stay in the most stunning of settings. We adored our few nights at The Ship Inn. We had our daughter with us so The Lyons Retreat worked well space wise. Homely and full of history - there was so much to take in. The surrounding gardens were gorgeous and offered great views. Excellent breakfast provisions and attention to detail with all things superb. We also loved utilising the bikes provided and exploring town and the beaches that way. Highly recommend - we will be back!

This is a really lovely place to stay. Unfortunately we were only here on a stopover during a road trip so arrived and night and left in the morning. The bread in the hotel room was such a nice touch. The room was super comfortable and the communal areas were lovely. We will definitely be back and dedicate more time to enjoying the accomodation.
