Very loud, very small. Other people's food looked good. Loaded burger fries what waaay too much american mustard on them. Wish I'd ordered the chicken.

Best burgers in Hobart, and the menu often has a lot of interesting latin-american flavours. Definitely one of my favourite places in town! The American IPA beer is a must try.

First time I had been here and I wasn't overly impressed. It was rather hot and humid in that back function room now this could of been a thing cause the batts with the beer are down there, so room was more comfortable for the beer than people (I don't know lol) and it was rather light during the early evening, but once the sun went down the room only had fairy lights and a few over table light shades, the room it's self was rather dark, then when you walk out into the toilet area it was even more dark. When I went to pay cash for a drink was told they don't accept cash and we're card only, I don't know if that was a site thing or just back room,

A brilliant range of beers on tap paired with great service. Then after the beers a great range of distilled spirits available. Combined with great food you will not find better in Hobart.
The black ipa was a standout!

Beers are great. Only ordered a few sides but they were delicious. Staff are also friendly. A little out of the way but well worth it.

Honestly, best cheeseburger I have had in a long time! Simple but done perfectly! Cheap and great drinks. Friendly staff and great look to the place!

Had such a great time at Shambles! We tried a couple of their tasting paddles, guzzled down the mulled cider and enjoyed a few pints with popcorn chicken snacks on the side. Such a great location with modern decor, friendly atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend!

Travelling around Tasmania at the moment. Have called into quite a few pubs and breweries during the circuit and managed to try all the more well known craft beers. Shambles stands out as one of the better ones for sure. My favourite is the American IPA, but surprisingly I also really enjoyed the big Porter Stout (not a fan of dark ale). I recommend trying the tasting paddles and making sure to include the American IPA. For food I recommend the shambles burger as it was honestly the best burger I have ever had. It was quite meaty and cheesy so if that's not your thing try something else, but for me it was a perfect balance of flavours - burger sauce nice and mustardy, big coarse ground patty, bun not soggy but also not too toasted or crumbly. The chips were unfortunately not good, maybe need herbs or spices, and the aioli was quite good but expected a bit more for $2. They have some options for vegetarian and vegan which were yummy. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They did possibly forget my beer until I reminded them, but my order was a bit confusing and there were a few people arriving at once so I wasn't bothered. Once the incredible American IPA arrived I was in heaven. Truly one of the places you cannot afford to miss when visiting Tassie. Highly recommend. I'll be back again soon. Can't wait.

Stumbled on this on a Friday night, what a find! Super busy but managed to get a spot on the high tables along the windows. For lager lovers this is a must, we tried some amber ales which were fantastic. Very good food was such a surprise, loved the pulled pork arepas & the Korean style salt & pepper squid. The special Goat curry was excellent. Definitely the spot for some beer tasting and good food, great vibe to go with friends.

Pretty good brewery! Quite small but had a very nice, relaxed vibe inside even though there wasn’t much atmosphere when we visited. Beers are pretty good without being spectacular. Staff okay.

The beer paddle was great. A bit disappointed with service. Ordered super uncomplicated (popcorn chick) and 20 min later it arrived. Only one other table there. Obviously kitchen hadn’t arrived 1/2 hr early to fire up everything like you should. That happens, but what was strange was the guy serving who looked offended when my partner asked over the wait.

This place is wonderful. The beers are very tasty and the staff very knowledgeable on what they are serving.
The food is also very tasty. Has a very welcoming feel. Very much recommended 'The Big Guy'

Best Arancini balls I've ever had, anazing Zuchinni and goats cheese waffles and of course the beer!

Great beer, staff, food and atmosphere! What a fantastic brewery to visit. We’re from Victoria and always on the look out for breweries to visit.

A couple of my friends and myself had lunch here this afternoon. Would like to say we really enjoyed the food. The menu was small but a good a choice in food and well laid out. The staff were kind and welcoming. I recommend!

By far best food I've had in years. This is the double cheeseburger and bacon. Super cheap and amazing food

Always a great spot to pop in for a quick drink, or sit down for a couple. Most people should find something on the food menu, and I've never had a bad meal from the kitchens.
