Great tasty food, I ordered a burrito bowl. Friends ordered a veg burger, poke bowl and Toyko bowl! All super tasty, quick service and quick food

Yummers! Moroccan Lamb shoulder was so so filling, so delicious, so many flavours. Highly recommend Raincheck Lounge. Staff were also really friendly.

Delicious breakfast however the sanitation wiping of the table wasn't too good. (3wipes doesn't cut it, in my opinion) also no water offered.

Always find the meals a bit random. Sometimes big and delicious, other times small and lacking creativity.
Coffee is awesome though.

I LOVE this place sooooooo much. They are very kind and they make the best chips and they, personally make the BEST hot chocolate

A great spot for coffee, brunch, lunch or dinner in North Hobart. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating (on the sidewalk, Paris-style) but is can get busy on weekend mornings so get in early for a seat. Very good menu and range of sweets.

I had the Breakfast burger came out with3/4 plate covered in what looked like frozen crinkle cut chips.
Service was good though

Great variety selection of drinks on the menu from alcoholic to hot drinks to kombucha to cold press juice. Relaxed atmosphere with variety of seating from couches tables and high stools. My order got missed until the shops closing time but the store was happy to do a refund.

Table booked online with ease during the week. Tentative booking until it was confirmed the next day, confirmed via email. Table available upon early arrival and prompt service for drinks while we waited for our friends. Food was ordered and again service was prompt. The food was delicious.

This place used to be really good but since the change of management it appears to have taken a tumble.
My last three visits have been disappointing.
Questionable service, burnt food on all three occasions and the person I believe to be the manager was downright rude.
So sad to see a great place go downhill.

The older guy that works there, possibly the owner, is really rude and smug. I wouldn't go there again.

Great food, coffee, presentation, and atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable and staff are very friendly. Will visit again.

Hobart has lots of nice cafes. But what they also have is lots of funky named cafes. I have lived in most Australian cities but no where comes up with these funky names like Hobart. The edgy named Raincheck is one of them. In New Town its in the heart of the cultural scene in Hobart. A bit like Brunswick in Melbourne and Chippendale in Sydney. Food is good and the service is better.

The Raincheck Lounge is a constant in the eternal flux that is North Hobart. Worth the visit for the reminiscing alone. Don't expect to find beer here, and get in early before the tables (and dishes) run out.

The waiter put us out the back and forgot about us We were served warm water whilst we wait. We are about to walk out and nevercoming here agaib

A good and original burger with very tasty lamb, well cooked potatoes with a cut from the house and in good quantity. The staff was very correct and the place cozy and quiet. Sorry not to give you the five stars, everything was fine but not excellent. I will come back to try more dishes.

Been going to this place daily for many years and seeing the rapid decline of service. It is so true how the staff make a place. Sat there for 15 minutes today waiting to be served to have a morning coffee and breakfast. Others sat and were served. It’s not the first time over the last six months. Hoping Mike and Loz also don’t move on.

Hoping they get it sorted and bring back the old Rain Check which bent over backwards for there customers.

Delicious salmon poke bowl. Fair prices, fairly healthy menu options, great local wine & spirit selection, and friendly staff.

Did some wandering around North Hobart and found this place.
Sat down, and was instantly attended to with water and menus.
Ordered the Fruit toast with jam. My partner had eggs and Avo from memory.
Must say, the best Fruit Toast I have had. The jam was exceptional.
Ordered the same in Melbourne a few days later in one of the coffee shops in centre place and nowhere near as good.

Enjoyed the breakfast bowl very much.good atmosphere and friendly service. A few spots in the street where you can sit with your dog.weather allowing.treats for dog available at the counter.edible by humans too apparently
