The tasting and service was fabulous, as was the cheeseboard. Such a lovely winery. Bonus kids playground and duck feeding, so we could enjoy the outdoor area while our toddler had a play. We would definitely come back!

Great wine, the most hospitable staff, and Darren, the owner, an absolute legend in Tasmanian wine making!

Are very experienced and know their wines as a small boutique winery that really delivers. Their bubbleduck is sensational and 2017 is super yummy.got a vintage and their special reserve one to have sometime too.looking forward to it and one day getting to one of their paint and plonk days!

What a gem! Loaded with character and atmosphere as well as great wine. Loved their Riesling. Outside area with playground plus ducks to feed.feed available.

A pleasant place to visit. The owners created a quite spectacular vineyard and property from nothing in a little over 20 years. The wine tasting was good value and the views lovely. Their manmade pond, Puddle Duck Pond, is impressive. Their wines are a little pricey compared to a lot of other places but they produce and bottle everything themselves. I would go back.

Owners are fantastic, meals great (not to mention the wine) and an amazing setting. Great for kids too. Very well ran and put together!

Loved the wine tasting. Enthusiastic family run. Deck and ground are perfect to enjoy wines and food matched to it. Shop is excellent. Highly recommended

Family owned winery where you can really feel the passion about what they do!

Winery is small volume and is heavily based on family skill set. That said, you can really feel the passion in what they do and the service they offer. I didn’t get to try food on the day.

You can also BYO food and enjoy out next to the duck pond, which is very cool, but you can’t bring drinks.

Strong recommend from me!

Lovely place. Loved the wine tasting. Staffs are very friendly. One of the small local-business vineyard, they only sell it at their vintage cellar. You would not be able to find it in any other store. So make sure when you are coming down here for tasting and always bring few bottles home with you.

If the weather good, you could order meal & beverage and sit outside table, enjoying the view at the same time!

Place is easy to find! Hope you all enjoy the visit like i did!

Puddleduck is my Favorite Vineyard in Southern Tasmania. Every second year they hold a Charity duck race and the money goes to 3 cancer research organizations.
Blue.to Prostate research
Pink.to Breast cancer research
Yellow.to Kids cancer
Its a Great day out and lots of Fun for Great Charitys.

For a parent with a runaway toddler, Puddleduck Winery was bliss. A playground & duck feeding will delight children without the worry of them escaping. Meanwhile, the adults can enjoy the blissful views and wine. Super friendly service to boot. Food options are limited, but understandable with the option for BYO.

Went there for a family picnic. The reverse BYO is always amazing - you get to bring in the food you like and match it up with some great wine and not have to worry about cleaning up after. The staff was very hospitable, during the wine tasting, the staff told us about the history and roots of the vineyard as well. The patio out the back has very serene views and my only tip would be to call ahead and make a reservation, especially on sunny days / weekends.

I don't give a lot of 5 stars because a lot of places it's just bs hype. I'm not going to say all their wine were great but the pinot noir was as good as it gets from California to Oregon. The presentation was friendly and knowledgable. They furnished water and a bucket to clean the palate. The scenery dressed around a duck refuge pond only adds to the wonderful ambiance. My best experience at a winery in Australia. Toilets get a B+

This family owned vineyard had a lot to offer for us and other people we chatted with. We could talk to the winemaker who gave us freely of his time and taste the wines. Another couple we spoke to said they liked it because the kids could go enjoy the play area and not be heard. Really fun afternoon.

Great experience from start to finish. Amazing setting and well crafted brand, and friendly engaging team members and well worth a visit. The wines were beautiful, and they had great local produce available also. Would return for a meal, and keen to visit again for their annual charity duck race!
