Port Arthur Lavender reviews
80Unbelievable food, absolutely delicious fish and chips and the Lavender indulgence was one of the best deserts I have ever had anywhere.
Really nice venue and friendly staff, just disappointed we were there at the wrong time of year and couldn’t see the lavender!
Food was top quality. Service was prompt and friendly. And the prices were competitive. Will definitely be going back there again. Would highly recommend this place.
Delicious. Everything. Best salt and pepper squid we’ve ever had. Definitely pop in here if you’re in the area - the best lunch we had in Tassie!
Pancakes with blueberries served with lavender infused cream and ice cream. Very filling, beautifully presented. Tea & coffee served hot and to order.
Wow what a wonderful place to visit, lovely coffee. Walk around the ponds, looking at the lavender. Great gift shop. Excellent customer service. Thank you
I had couple of meals in the cafe. We ordered battered fish and chips, squid with Mediterranean herbal salad. The fish and squid were tender and moist. The chips are just right and cruchy. Good customer service.
Food was okay but a bit pricey. They have a shop indoors as well which sells chocolates and lavender soaps and everything. Nearby lavender field was nice even though it wasn’t in full bloom
When you enter the venue, you smell a beautiful lavender scent, not too powering but nice relaxing, food is great, staff is friendly, place itself no need explanation, beautiful
Cool little find on the way to the Port Arthur Historic Site (5 mins away) Shared an amazing Beef Stack and Lavender & Blueberry Pancakes
Great food and coffee
Facing the harbour on one side and the mountains on the other side
Nice place to eat and enjoy the views
Had lunch at the Lavender Farm as part of a tour package. It was very delicious with generous helpings. Very good gift shop too. Bought some chocolate lavendar drink.totally yum.
Such a lovely restaurant and tourist attraction.
Staff are very accommodating and very friendly.
We have been here many times and every time the food has been great! Keep up the great work!
Such a beautiful place for lunch even on a cold winters day there have a beautiful log fire. The shop is full with plenty of beautiful things and the food is great we where served by a lovely lady if I got her name so friendly and the lavender tea was wonderful and the lavender cream I had with my scones was something else. The view over the water just made it a wonderful visit Thankyou
I thought it was good! The cafe was lavender themed so if you love Lavender on your coffee, hot chocolate etc like us, then you are in for a treat! The food portion was American sized that we could hardly stomach all of them. The lavender farm was, well, non-existent at least to my naked eyes. Staff were brilliant.
Ohhh the best coffee I have had in a long time! Beautiful food and generous servings perfectly cooked steak and amazing service from Anne so beautiful!
Hot delicious food. Greatly appreciated it after the Wildness Boat Cruise. We were frozen. The restaurant was warm, friendly and the service was fast. Had the scallops on skewers and the pumpkin soup. So good. I really like how restaurants in Tasmania serve "hot" food. Restaurants in the USA have lost that magic touch. It makes such a huge difference - especially when you are freezing. I would definitely eat there again.
Staff were friendly and the restaurant was very tidy, it also smelt absolutely awesome inside due to the lavender. My friend had the Pancakes and I tried the Lavender Latte, both were delicious. The grounds were nice and easy to roam around in.
Great peaceful setting for dining overlooking the water. Very good food and beverages and pleasant staff. There is also a mountain of gifts involving lavender available to purchase.
For all things lavender this is a must visit! The staff were welcoming and friendly and the service was wonderful. The meals were so fleeping delicious and the coffee was the best I had in Tas!
Only disappointment was not being able to get some pics among the lavender but only as it was being worked on so not a big deal!
