Port Arthur Lavender reviews
80A fantastic stop over great food and drinks amazing array of gifts awesome staff amazing ambience well worth the stop a must really very reasonable priced
Food was below average
Property in great location and was good to see some lavenders and flowers around
Beautifully presented grounds and shop. Tasty, piping hot coffee. The lavender shortbread cookies are delicious but I found their coconut ice maybe a bit too heavy on the lavender. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
They have an extensive range of items to buy and I would highly recommend dropping in.
Absolutely must place to visit - nice meals, good service, very good view.
Pets allowed outside on the ground
Visited few months before the Lavendar fully blooms but still loved this place. Had lavendar coffee in front of the mesmerising view of sea and pretty purple lavendar flowers. It was a cozy Cafe with great service. Also bought souvenirs- Lavendar Candle, Lavender tea and Lavendar oil for friends and office from here when I visited Tasmania. Surely drop by here if visiting Port Arthur historic site.
Tried the fries in this Café and they were really good and different. The back views are really pleasant and it also has a nice Lavender farm.
Lovely pit stop on The way to port Arthur convict village. The lavender farm n the lavender shop is beautiful. The restaurant is beautiful to look at. Food is presented well but below average taste. They need a new chef. Scones were very stale and dry.
The food was tasty and good portion sizes. They serve a good variety of food from 10-4. Great coffee as well
Visitors, Don't compare it with the big farm in the North please. Port Arthur Lavender does deserve as much credit for their products even with a smaller field to visit. At least it's free.
Great place to stop for lunch. We had the salmon and the scallop and chorizo skewer and both were excellent. The lavender indulgence was a great way to sample the edible treats available.
The most amazing experience at the lavender cafe. Food was absolutely amazing, staff were extra helpful and friendly and the view was lovely. My partner and I had the orange and almond cake which was beautifully presented. We then came back for a late lunch which was delicious! Gold star tick of approval. Recommend for everyone
We sat outside because we went there with our puppies. Beautiful view and very tasty food. The dessert was special and pretty.
Food was tasty but nothing special. Beautiful venue. Service was good. Very quick food delivery. I wouldn't make the trip specifically for this place but great stop of you are going past
Maybe I don't like lavender enough for this sort of place. That said, nice set up, Cafe, grounds, gift shop - they've obviously spent a bomb, and made a huge effort.
Great food, the meals are really big couldn't finish mine. The range of lavender products is varied. We walked out with more than we intended
Great food and relaxing place to have a nice breakfast before heading to Port Arthur Historic Place.
A great place to visit. Very well set out with a large area for browsing and looking at an amazing range of lavender based products. Café also well spaced with great views - very good menu and food nicely presented and tasty.
Stopped in for lunch today and had an amazing meal. Can recommend the salt and pepper squid and gnocchi. Will be back for some other meals and the beautiful outlook that topped off the experience.
A great spot to stop for breakfast/brunch/lunch on your way in or out of Port Arthur. Good food and a fantastic gift store stacked full of a fabulous range of products from lavender gin, to lavender chocolates, fudges, nougat, coconut ice and cookies, lavender body washes, creams and muscle rubs, beautiful blankets and lavender-infused heat packs, specialty lavender teas and hot chocolates, jewelry and much, much more.
