Peppers Silo Launceston reviews
70Service amazing but I think I expected a bit more than what I got as a share platter for 2 @ $32 besides what was served.
Just love this place. Whatever you do dont miss dinner at Mud Bar. Stunning. Accommodation perfect. Staff perfect. Thanks so much.
Quite short and really went to see how the silos had been reinvented. Did not see the rooms but was underwhelmed with lack of ambience in cafe, toilets and furniture, which was grubby and uncomfortable. Even light fittings did not hang evenly. If ur going to be 41/2 stars u need to pay attention to the details.
Had lunch with a friend. We had a lovely glass of local bubbly then a shared charcuterie platter with breads and goats cheese. Very nice and a lazy way to chat and nibble. The service was good though the wait staff interrupted (we were very focussed) us to ask if everything was ok - twice. All in all, a very pleasant experience, the surroundings are lovely though the view at the moment is of a construction site while they prepare the surrounding park.
The newest hotel on the main river is a great place, food and service impeccable, go visit even for lunch or an afternoon drink on the sumptuos lounges
Lovely meal with 8 friends for my birthday. Delicious dessert. Nice outlook across the river.
Amazing service from Loxley our absolutely wonderful waiter. 10/10 for Loxley.
Stunning accommodation. Room was huge but could be filled with a sofa as wY too much space felt something was missing. View was good and bathroom stunning and large. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only criticism would be noisy when rooms being cleaned when trying to sleep but that was because I was trying to sleep in. Most people are up and out early but I am a slow riser. Seating areas around the hotel are so immaculAte and welcoming and the Grain Restaurant ten out of ten. Top marks to the chefs
Amazing Silo King deluxe room. Beautiful views. Restaurant is amazing.
Staff are wonderful. And the dog is so cute! Definitely recommend this place.
Meals are fantastic at the grain restaurant. I had lunch there and my meal was perfect, service from the staff was exceptional.totally enjoyed my time there.
This place is nice but where it falls over is with the failed attempt to create an industrial ambience, particularly in the lobby. The old silos are great but the muddy builders foot prints on the precast concrete, along with builders chalk lines and pencil marking, make it appear unfinished and tacky. For $350 per night I would have expected clean mugs in our room without the prior occupants lipstick. They are having a crack but pricing themselves above reality. It is an industrial area of Invermay at the end of the day.
