Orford Blue Waters Hotel

Visited ANZAC Eve 2022. Enjoyed a beautiful seafood platter and it was an array of seafood. Absolutely beautiful and fresh. My partner had the scallops. His was lovely and lots of scallops. Highly recommend. NO CRABSTICK OR GEM rejects here. Salad was yummy too.nice friendly staff.
Just book tho, as the foods good so is the patronage?

Nice country pub. Good pub food, helpful and friendly staff and a nice view. I particularly liked that the serving staff helped us move to a larger table when we were a bit cramped at our original one, and that they advised us that the seafood platter for two would probably be enough for the three of us (it certainly was).

Joe and Allen were so good to us. Having gotten lost (thanks to lack of mobile data coverage and loss of maps) we pulled in very late but Alan had stayed on deck to greet us. The room was the best and cleanest motel we stayed at throughout our 10 day Tassie adventure. Comfy beds, good pillows, clean sheets and affordable accom. Highly recommend this place as a great stopover on the Great Eastern Drive.

After having the worst steak on the East Coast at The Bark Mill in Swansea we are glad to say the steaks here were brilliant!

The room was very large and the staff were all so helpful. They would do anything to help you in any way. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a great holiday. I had a wonderful seven night stay.

Had a wonder lunch. Food was really good. Great beverage selection. Staff very friendly. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful room with awesome deck and furniture! Tastefully renovated and super comfy mattress. Great lounge with 8 ball and ice cold beer. Great service in the restaurant and we had a huge table. Will definitely be back! Thanks!

We were very impressed at the recently renovated modern room, which was nicely decorated & very clean. Our daughter slept on the pull-out sofa & there was still ample room to move around. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

Well for starters, we received our meal way past our tea time, which is unacceptable.secondly, the burger bun was too soft and fell apart, making it quite troublesome to eat.there was just one blob of sauce that wasn’t even centred in the bun.my friend received pink chicken, but i am quite happy she got a free bowl of chips and desert.overall, i believe some things could be improved but well done

To start off my meal came past my bedtime, second of all I got a burger and the burger bun was Burt with the sauce only in one spot and the coleslaw in it was falling everywhere (very messy). Lastly my chicken in my burger was raw but that leaded to getting a free desert and bowl of chips so I guess that’s pretty cool.

Stopped in here for dinner. Presents as a well looked after bistro style kind of venue. 2 of us ordered the fish of the day which was salmon. At a cost of $38 each we expected top quality. Sadly the fish we received was definitely not salmon and no explanation as to why we were not getting the fish we ordered? (Perhaps a disconnect between front and back of house). Otherwise it was fine, but mainly the hefty price for a special and not getting what you ordered brought the experience down.

Great venue. Love the new facilities and lounge. Let's get over this covid thing and help you people make some good profits

Meals absolutely Devine,
Pork belly is amazing veggies perfect, and sizing is fantastic, beef parmi melts in your mouth, cheese burgers are delicious. Very very satisfied and prices are great will defaintly be back.

Great Motel Rooms are refurnished and modern, shower on small size but hot water is hot and strong.
Room size was big and great with low height bunks as well as queen, great family unit, Aircon heats well, a plus was the private balcony to sit on with views looking out to the river. Small kitchenette which had jug, toaster, etc but rooms need a microwave for heating up takeaways and hot choc.
The restaurant was modern and the food was 10 out of 10, not your basic pub food, but must book, the staff were attentive and happy to help.
Since renovations have been done, I highly recommend a stay in a deluxe or family unit, check in was quick and simple. Parking outside your room door.
Looks can be deceiving and this motel is just that.
I will be back and will recommend highly to others.

Bistro service was atrocious. My earlier phone booking for 2 people for 1930pm was accepted, our food order was taken with prepayment at 1950. Our meals did not arrive until 2115pm - 1hr25 mins later. No communication during this time from any staff. They obviously accepted far too many bookings for the number of kitchen staff employed. Where was the manager? We should have been told that there would be a very long wait for food & given the choice to stay or go elsewhere. Seems like a greedy approach. Awful in Orford! Don’t go there.

Very comfortable and clean, our room was spacious and quiet. The restaurant served excellent pub food. A convenient and affordable stopover as we head north along the east coast.

Avoid the restaurant! Phoned up to book a table.got shifted to later in the evening because they couldn’t deal to us. Came at our booking time and have been waiting an hour 15 for our food (and still don’t have it!) Some bread or something for the wait would have been nice. They catered to the big tables in the room with lots of small tables around the room ignored. How hard is it to cook a piece of steak and fries?
