Booked in here not knowing what to expect. At end of holidays wished we stayed there and used as base. Was outstanding.

Convenient location, comfortable accommodation, great ambience. The only
reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I felt my mattress was saggy. Having said that, I would stay here again.

Lovely room, great breakfast and close to park for kids, easy to travel to all areas of Hobart. Lovely garden and nice view to the river.

We made a last minute reservation and got there around 8 and the owner Stan was kind and helpful. The place is historic and well maintained with comfortable rooms and bathrooms. There is a heater on the wall for those chilly nights, which it was while we were there. The breakfast and coffee machine was very good and the views and gardens are beautiful. We would definitely stay if we visit again. Thanks Stan!

A nice and grand garden attached to this historical building. Indoor is a little bit dark but still very charming. The only setback is the ‘no reverse parking’ sign. A serious neighbor is watching you!

Self check-in and discreet owners. Place looked like all the photos, clean, warm, well maintained gardens, beautiful room views. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning with a great variety. Owners serving breakfast were helpful with weather and adventure tips. Quiet, lovely stay! Will definitely be back. Fantastic value.

As usual Stan, the host, greeted us with a warm welcome. The room is a different one to what we had last time. But still very nice and comfortable. There are near by services an easy walk away. We'll be coming back again.

Wonderful experience here. Amazing breakfast. Was nice to feel free to roam. Only drawback, room was really cold. Electric blanket to warm beds were great but would have loved a warm room. Fireplace was amazing.

Lovely accommodation close to Hobart. $20 taxi ride and we were in the midst of all the action.

This is a little gem of Hobart tucked away just a stone's throw from the waters edge. The rooms are spacious and lovely queen Anne period. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming with breakfast and a warm fire in the sitting room complete with hot chocolate and marshmallows supplied. All so affordable and private.

A charming place to stay. Quiet and handy to both city and airport, it provides a really good range of breakfast options and great coffee machine.
