Molly Malones Irish Pub reviews
46Had a very average meal. Chips tasted like yesterday chip warmed up steak sandwich was not hot. Would not go again for a meal.
I enjoyed a really good roast of the day there which was a good size meal for a hungry man. It was very busy and in fact booked out but they fit me in. The staff were great and I will return there next time I am in Devonport.
Food is great, service always friendly and efficient. Affordable prices too. Excellent roast meals. Unfortunately the decor is not that inviting but I guess that is up to individual tastes.
Customer service in the gaming room was poor, staff were rude.
I enjoyed the food in the restaurant, customer service was also better there.
I just can't seem t get excited about Molly's. The meals are a bit hit and miss. Prices are up there - for a few $$ more you could ramp your dining experience up and eat at local restaurants.
The meals did come out quick, which was a bonus, given we had two toddlers with us. Roast pork was eatable, but not the greatest, other meals were as expected.
With he adaptions to the new COVID way of life, they did offer a table service or sorts, which was nothing short of amazing - very attentive and accommodating.three stars for the service.
Ehhhh not upset just disappointed, first of all got a proper Guinness so that was good. Other beer options were below average. Food was pretty poor, mate for the chorizo past which seemed to have more seafood in it than my seafood platter. Seafood skewer that had most of the options of actual seafood on it which had a single prawn, a small chunk of cooked salmon and a scollop. Like when I see “prawns” as a plural written out I expect more than a single prawn. Garden salad looked like it was a small handful from a Wolloes mixed bag of greens with a single cherry tomato cut in half and placed ontop. The seafood cake was the only thing I left and just not pleasant.it’s a shame seems like a cool place but I would not eat here again in a hurry. The burgers and schnitzel looked good and I probably ordered the wrong thing but if you don’t make something well take it off your menu so others don’t fall into the same trap as I did.
