Great hotel and staff are really friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever with this. Would highly recommend it

Great little boutique hotel Chris, our host was a wealth of local knowledge and let us know points of local interest. We had a clean and quiet room at the rear of the building, we will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at the “Magnificent Manor” and highly recommend it to everyone. The building itself is lovely and has that olde worlde charm. Our room was huge, the location was really convenient to everything, and breakfast and parking were included. Chris was a fabulous host and gave us lots of great information about where to go & what to see and Matt was also really welcoming and helpful. Lord “Raggy” also graced us with his presence. Thanks Chris & Matt! We’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in Hobart.

Fabulous old heritage listed hotel with great, comfortable and clean facilities and large room with beautiful high ceiling.

Location is great, only a few hundred metres to Salamanca Markets and Franklin Wharf (plenty of restaurants and bars there), and a few hundred metres in the other direction to Elizabeth St Mall and the CBD shopping district.

The owner, Chris, is incredibly hospitable yet unintrusive. Continental breakfast is great, and included in room price. Couldn't ask for more, can highly recommend Macquarie Manor!

This place is awesome. I booked our accommodation so was feeling the pressure to choose something good. It was so good and we'll definitely be back. Yes, there is some traffic noise but you're right in the CBD and you're staying in an amazing old place with so much character and charm. The location is perfect, the rooms are big and so comfortable, the coffee is great, and Chris and Matt are top guys. We loved it

This was a beautiful hotel, large bedrooms and set in a perfect location. Couldn’t fault anything. The staff were so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed to enjoy our stay.

Staying at the Macquarie Manor was a pleasure. Our room was very large, with two lounges a desk and chair also very nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy. The continental breakfast is great good choice of cereal, fruit and spreads for the toast. Nice heated up croissants and coffee was also very good. We will stay here again.

Majestic building, beautiful decor. Super comfy king size bed, very quiet thanks to double glazing. Chris our host was welcoming & went above & beyond to make our stay perfect. Lovely breakfast. Short walk to everything Hobart has to offer. Will definitely stay here again.

Chris the owner was really helpful, kind and overall just great, the room was nice and had everything we needed, WiFi was surprisingly fast and worked great.
Would absolutely stay again, it's in a pretty good place aswell as it's a short walk down to the pier things.

Parking (albeit limited) out the back. Stairs to the upstairs rooms. Quality continental breakfast. Chris is an informative guide and loves his work.

A beautiful heritage building with modern fittings and old fashioned charm. The best stay I have ever had in Hobart, thanks largely to the hospitality of Chris. Cannot recommend this welcoming and comfortable manor enough

What a wonderful Manor the rooms are so big and very old but kept in great condition. Chris and his rag doll cat just make the manor. Location is great to. We stayed in a modern hotel earlier but I would come back here before modern.

We stayed at the Macquarie Manor in January and had an exceptional experience. Despite some setbacks with our trip, we were able to enjoy our time in Hobart thanks to Chris's warm hospitality. Chris is a wonderful host, he has an exceptional knowledge of Hobart and it's surrounds and is always willing to go above and beyond what is expected. We will be staying again, and heartily recommend it to anyone else looking for a grand room, in a grand place, with the best host.

Love the decor, the breakfast and Raggy the cat. Nothing to fault, great service, comfy bed, great location. Will definitely be staying here again when I return to Hobart.
