Hellyers Road Distillery

Delish food, had a great lunch/morning tea, my son loves coming here and seems to nag at us to come here every weekend. A great gift shop, and can't forget about the whiskey. Best staff ever seen in any places, they also do tours of the distillery itself, great views facing out onto the paddocks, and other plains. Not in town (thankfully) and in a more "remote" location of Burnie. Fast service and our food was hot and fresh, they are able to co-operate with any intolerances or allergies, such as diary free milk and able to suit any meal to your liking or to your needing. Cannot speak anymore higher of this place, definetely the best place in Tassie, you need to check it out whenever in Tassie.

The best food we had on our holiday in Tassie and the whiskey and liqueurs were fantastic. Staff were all friendly and informative with us as we were fairly new to the whiskey world and the tour was great.

The tour was great. Very informative. We didn't actually eat there, but the menu looked great, the view is awesome, and customers looked happy. We tasted several of their products, and of course brought some back. Some great boxed sets where you get an original 10 year old, plus one finished in Pinot cask and one slightly peated. All this in a beautiful box set (750ml in total) for very similar price to purchase of just one 700ml bottle of any of these three. Great way to remember the flavours!

Great priced whisky tasting served together with interesting cheese selection. The tour is fairly short but interesting to see behind the scenes, as well as an opportunity to taste top quality whisky included in the experience. Overall well worth visiting and left with a selection of their whisky to enjoy later.

Whiskey distillery with a short tour and single tasting. Online booking had issues but was eventually recognised. Can purchase plenty of whiskey at tourist shop.

The tour was not the most interesting distillery tour I've been on but it was informative. The tour consisted of watching a video and looking through two windows into the automated distillery and the bond store. You did get to taste some whisky though. The tastings in the restaurant are great value for money though and the food is really good as well.

Food and service was excellent in the restaurant, we waited in the gift shop to buy something all staff walked by made eye contact but didn't come over to help us so we ended up walking out and going to bws where they served us promptly and ended up not buying heller's whiskey. Very disappointing.
