Get Shucked Oyster experience on Burny Island exceeded all expectations, especially in terms of size and freshness. The oysters, a whopping two times larger than those I had in perth Australia, delivered an indulgent sensation with each bite.

The taste was also incredibly fresh, with a distinct flavor that allowed you to savor the natural brininess of the sea. The hint of salt was a perfect complement, enhancing the overall oyster experience.

What impressed me equally was the reasonable pricing, considering the island setting. At $30 for a dozen, the cost aligns well with the exceptional quality of the oysters. Get Shucked provides a luxurious yet accessible option for those seeking a premium oyster experience on Burny Island.

Best oysters I've ever had. They were fat and juicy. So plump and Super creamy. The fresh ones were the best, followed by the panko fried. I would give the Kilpatrick a miss, cause the other two were so good.

Fresh creamy and juicy oysters accompanied by classic beautiful songs. Surrounding by pristine bay views. The perfect Sunday to spend with Kenny the DJ. A worthwhile pitstop on your Bruny island.

I’ve never normally been able to stomach oysters but these ones at get shucked have converted me. The kilpatrick and panko crumbed oysters are absolutely delicious! And a special mention to the staff that treated us like royalty while we were here even though they were completely run off their feet over the long weekend! 100% would recommend to oyster lovers or anyone wanting to give them a go!

No doubt the best oysters I've ever had. Beautiful place and lovely staff. Was so good, the one dozen "just a taste" became 3 dozen + 1 more before driving back to Hobart. 100% A must visit. Will be back!

The natural oysters were fresh and fantastic, but the Kirkpatrick oysters were not as fresh and cooked more in a BBQ sauce than a Worcestershire sauce.

Now I’m not normally a fan of oysters so I wasn’t that excited to be here other than it being a must visit on Bruny Island. These oysters however completely changed my perception of what oysters can taste like. It was like being transported to another world. Further, the staff were really friendly even though we arrived just as they were closing up shop. The stories are true, this is a must visit even if you don’t like oysters

If you are visiting Tasmania, am sure you will have a bucket list of the best seafoods.
One of them must be the fresh oysters.
And if you are still thinking about where to get the best ones near Hobart, Get Shucked Oysters is the place to go! Specially if you are on the day tour to Bruny Islands, this is a must do.
Juicy, creamy and fresh Oysters with some amazing dressings.
Will visit again soon!

Deliciously Fresh Oysters.
A bit pricey at $22 for a dozen but they shuck is as you buy them. I have never had such fresh oysters.
We bought it and took it away Tia beautiful spot to sit and enjoy them instead of eating inside.

I would come back to Bruny Island just to eat these oysters! Probably the best oysters I've eaten may have ruined all other future oysters elsewhere: (

Worth the wait and hype, great if you love full flavoured oysters ~ we had a dozen natural flavoured and a dozen with dressings (x3).

These were quite different to the Freycinet Marine Farm oysters we had a few days ago, so it was great to compare the differences between the two locations and oysters.

Friendly and welcoming staff made the waiting easier and observed good CovidSafe practices.

Get here earlier in the day if you can, they had sold out shortly after 3 when we arrived during the peak holiday week.

Greatest Oyster place in all of Australia where you can buy fresh natural oysters and the most delicious Mixed Dozen consisting of 4 Natural, 4 Kilpatrick and 4 exceptional Panko oysters. Found Get Shucked on the day we arrived and could not resist another visit for a round of a delicious dozen with a glass of white Tasmanian Chardonnay on the late morning departure from Bruny Island. All 4 of us West Australians agreed Get Shucked is the best oyster supplier in Australia and a must visit destination.

I took interstate family members here a few weeks ago, the absolutely LOVED the oysters (not for me I just had chips!). As we were leaving my brother started up a converstaion with another South Australian, the consensus was these oysters were better that Coffin Bay oysters! That's a big call!
