The rooms and location are good, but service is lacking. The staff at the reception are really nice and kind, but for the price you pay, one expects at least some cleaning done by housekeeping. Cleaning aside, even the towels and bath mats weren't changed. We left the dirty towel as instructed on the floor of the shower enclosure but clearly, the housekeeping staff didn't even bother to check there.
The breakfast options are quite limited. I've had much better continental breakfasts at motels.

Fabulous location, everything is very well kept and very stylish.
The rooms as well as the breakfast/lounge area have beautiful views over the bays, this is just magnificent.
Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful.

The location is good for watching the stars and sunrise from your bed. It’s a very special, unforgettable experience for me to be able to watch the sky from my bed. The sky is beautiful at night with the stars shining brightly.

Beautiful location with stunning views. The room is quite small and compact (like a tiny house) but modern, warm and comfortable with everything you need including a private balcony looking over trees to the ocean. Very peaceful. Lots of amazing art/sculptures throughout the resort! Short drive to fabulous restaurants, seafood, and of course the national park walks/views.

Beautiful cabin rooms in a stunning location with immaculate views.
Would recommend atleast a 2-night stay, rather than our 1 night - be sure to wake up early to catch the sunrise.
Friendly and welcoming staff with great service. Although there is a small kitchen in the rooms, they could do with more kitchen utensils being provided (bowls, plates, pans etc).
The resort has a really nice common area which also has great views where you can enjoy some wine/cheese (which they can provide for you) or enjoy your own items. A good array of breakfast foods are provided in the common area.
It is a 15-20 min drive to the National Park and most lunch/dinner venues. The drive up to the resort is on a 4km dirt road which is very well maintained (only a few little pot holes along the way) -however at night it could do with some slight lighting along the road.

A wonderful experience. Fantastic and friendly staff, a quiet and beautiful location and a nice fresh breakfast to energise you for a day of exploration in beautiful Freycinet. Will definitely stay here again.

Wish we had extended our stay here! The rooms, view and service was excellent. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean, all from the view of your bed is something I will never forget!

Immaculate views and a relaxing setting in good proximity to Coles Bay and bush walks. Would certainly recommend a 2 night stay rather than our 1 night and a brief early wake up for the sunrise. Great service and a good array of breakfast foods provided - make sure to try all the fresh juices.

Absolutely gorgeous views and high quality rooms. Each unit has a (very comfortable) bed facing the water with a view, and balcony with chairs. The property uses stored rain water, which I thought was cool. Heated floors in the bathroom, heated towel rack. Keurig and electric kettle. We had binoculars and telescope in our room and it was fun to star gaze. The breakfast was continental with breads, cereal, fruit and yogurt, etc, but also had a grill to make your own toasties and fresh tasting orange juice and good coffee/espresso. Overall great stay, and I wish we could have stayed here longer.

Beautiful location higher than you think, room was one of the best equipped hotel rooms ive ever stayed in, and with a nice bottle of bubbly it made the experience and the views and the comfy bed all the more better. We had kangas visit in the morning, i highly recommend this property and with lovely public facilities, breakfast and friendly staff, it makes it the best place in Freycinet

This was a fab place to stay, stunning views especially from your bed. Staff could not do enough for you and having the big communal eating room was great especially when we were able to use the BBQ and set up there. Would thoroughly recommend

Absolutely amazing location and service. Mel did a great job at making sure we had good recommendations for where we should visit on our short trip to Tasmania! We will definitely be back.

What a special place you have created up in the hills looking out to Friendly Beach and the water for all of us to enjoy. The cabins are very well set up, comfortable and opened out to the lovely views. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back one day. Have already started recommending to our friends,

Spent one night here, the experience was great. You’re truly one with nature, on the top of the mountain overlooking the coast and their own private trail to walk. The room was comfortable and modern with enough amenities to get by (heated bathroom flooring was great on the cold morning) There’s only about 8 cabins/rooms side by side which means it’s very quiet and private.
Dinner isn’t provided although I selected the (in house food option) cheese board which is enough to fill me right up. Then breakfast is a standard continental. Be aware it’s a dirt road on the drive up (which isn’t an issue unless you have a clean car)
Overall would I stay here again? Absolutely with that view!
If staying in the area, I highly recommend you consider here. Only about 10 mins or so from the National park.

We stayed in the Bush Retreat cabins. Spacious, immaculate presentation and stunning views. Loved the complimentary bubbles. Staff very welcoming and professional. Tranquil surroundings however occasionally interrupted by current construction work.

We spent two nights here this week. The setting is absolutely amazing, 360 deg views. The rooms are a bit tight, but manageable. The communal area, as lovely as it is, could benefit with some lounges to relax on, as the low bean bag type chairs are hard to get out of. We found the staff hard to understand.had to ask them to repeat what they were telling us. As a tea drinker, I would have liked boiled water from a kettle to drink my tea.not from a machine. While there are works happening, and areas outside are not finished, it's a premium price to pay feels unfinished! Some more info to hand off tours and local sightseeing.

Great stay here! Staff is very friendly and kind. The room is clean and comfy. The view is fantastic for sunset. The breakfast is simple but can definitely tell that the food is fresh and the whole dining room set out is beautiful! Wish I can stay longer! Hope the best for Freycinet Resort.

The breakfast and BBQ facilities were lovely! The sculpture walk is amazing. And what makes it more nice is the Chinese lady at the reception. She takes care of everyone like we are her family. Our child also loves playing the available games at the lounge. And since we checked in during the Christmas season, the place is soooo magical with natural plants and animals in the property whilst we listen to classical Christmas music and looking through their telescopes. You can also play pool with your buddies. Wish we stayed longer but will definitely come back

Shelf in the shower room is placed far too high! Understand that due to the size, too low will cause "hazard" when people turn around but maybe have them on a sliding track would be better? Let the user decide?

Room is comfortable and Staff are helpfully and friendly. Expensive given the size of the room.
