Frank Restaurant reviews
75We stopped by for a sampling of some Tazzie oysters. We had some oysters natural and also their fired variety. We were impressed with the freshness and creaminess of the oysters. The flavour and fleshiness of the oysters was also superb. We would highly recommend coming here to try some of Tazzies oysters.
Delicious food with a South American flair. Interesting decor, good service and a comfortable venue for adults. Would not be so good for young children as it is a bit dark and the food tends to be spicy, too.
Trendy more expensive than we thought. Music a bit loud (is there anywhere that has decent unobtrusive music).
Went for a work function which was catered it was our best meal in Tassie. The ceviche was absolutely amazing. I nearly ate the whole plate on our table! The baby chicken was so soft and tender and juicy. I would definitely go again!
We were recommended to eat here by our hotel staff at Henry Jones, it certainly didn’t disappoint. All our meals that we ordered were delicious and the service was fantastic.
Absolutely fantastic place.
The food was delicious, we had the venison and half chicken and fish of the day. It was all good. The venison was particularly nice.
The place is kids friendly and decor is classy Cinco de Mayo.
Frank, my man. What a place to be famished. My wallet didn't appreciate it but my appetite for a cheeky cocktail and amazing steak sure did. This is a staple in Hobart dining. Banter happy staff, delish sharable food and beverages to quench any hard earn thirsts. If you can open a door, then you'll like this place.
We went in with 4 adults, a 3 year old and a 4 month old without a booking. At first we thought we might feel unwelcome, but it was the complete opposite. So friendly and accommodating. Food and drink was great too.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is a nice mix of south american but with Tassie produce. Really recommend the hangar steak and roasted veg dishes. Not a massive fan of the ceviche.
Holy bbq smokes! The food was deeeeeelicious. Suggest the feed me option, service was impeccable (#glenyoudabestman), wine was fine. Everyone was giddy and left merry. Great night, highly recommend
Lovely spot for a cocktail and a light meal. Lovely view, friendly staff, delicious food. We were there too early for the grill which kicks off at 5.30pm so ate from the small plates list and the plates were generous and delicious.
Difficult to know pricing as it is shared plates and we had to keep asking how much a selection would cost. Amazing staff, wine and food though.
Top end restaurant with amazing selection of food. Every item we ordered were absolutely delicious. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and it didn't disappoint. The waiters were knowledgeable and very attentive.
Be drinking good wines or have a full dinner - a must place to go in Hobart.
Pretty good venue. Well fitted out, dark and moody. Service was great. Food came out a little too quickly but was pretty good. Not amazing but a really great overall experience and good value.
Great cuts but at somewhat exorbitant prices. Very poorly lit, great for mood lighting but detracts from reading menu or seeing your friends around the table.
