You have to visit this market, its the best. I go to purchase specific food but I also take in the other stalls at what is like a carnival atmosphere. By the way, the best dairy is there, Elgaar Farm. Do yourself a favor and induldge in some organic dairy. Its good for you!

Come visit of a Sunday morning in Hobart! Easy to get to and amazing fresh produce at reasonable prices. Plenty of other local breads, cheeses, drinks and meats too. Always go for the biltong!

The actual market is wonderful. Great produce and amazing food vendors. Highly recommend the smoked garlic from Tasmanian Natural Tomatoes and Garlic, and everything from Mt Gnomon Farm.

Parking is good, if a little tight.

However it loses a star for not being very disability friendly. Wheelchair access from the carpark is close to non-existent, and the covers over the electrical cords make life tricky too. Would love to see the market moved to a flat surface, or better ramps provided.

Great fresh produce and stalls selling an assortment of other products. Really enjoy going for a light meal here with a cup of coffee. Just remember that this market isn't dog friendly and parking starts at 9am. The parking attendants will be on the hunt to fine you if you go over your parking spots time allowance. Happy shopping.

Full of fresh food, localy produced product and a great atmosphere. We were advised to go there by a local man who says that were he get all is vegetables and fresh product from. If I lived in Hobart thats were I would go to. A must see for visitors to Hobart to.

Great market with lovely selection of fresh local veg. Really tasty but limited selection of take away food stalls. Amazing coffee.

Terrific li'l inner city market. Great organic food ranges and lovely pre made food options.
