Farm Gate Market reviews
53 A true farmers market, right in the centre of Hobart.
Fresh produce, food, coffee and some extra goodies, all great quality. Beautiful!
A delightful market with some beautiful produce and meal options. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing the stalls and indulging on some incredible food
Oh boy, breakfast was incredible and met some amazing local growers and whiskey distillery owners.thanks for warming up my chest with a little drop and some organic food! If you’re in Hobart and looking for a good start to your Sunday morning.go check this market out
Love this market, perfect amount of stalls and such fresh delicious produce! We go every week to pick up all our favourite things
A nice small market on a Sunday! We came across this unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised! The fresh vegetables prices are very good so we will do our weekly vegetable shop here from now on. I also liked the fresh fish that was available.
All the vegetables were nice and fresh! You can find fresh milk and eggs as well, oh, and mushrooms too over there! Per total, I liked what I've seen! Highly recommended!
Had an amazing crescent pastry and interesting cakes here. You can smell the carrots and beans from a meter away and there's always something different to find. Hard not to spend a lot so just try a couple of things and go back again.
Great place to spend time with family.
Best part is you get real quality stuff like fresh veggies unlike supermarket where we mostly get frozen stuff
Place has great vibes, don't miss it if you are in Hobart on a Sunday
What a wonderful market.almost every shop has something unique to offer. The place is very Green and very friendly. The coffee bbq free parking is a great addition. Do take your re usable coffee cups. The food is fresh and they hv fresh veg. They use paper bags. People bring bags to shop is very refreshing to see. Not overcrowded at all when we went around 10am.the donuts were really nice made of Sour dough bread. Flowers and pet food, honey all are sold here. Must visit.
Usually a nice event to visit depending on the weather and how early you get there. Towards the end some stalls run out of stuff. Usually lots of nice dogs at the sidelines, although supposedly not dog friendly
Always love the market.never walkout with anything but always get a good feed.probably needs a few more places to sit and eat though.
Loved this market! Only had local vendors (mainly produce, baked goods, liquor, cheese l, meets.) amazing food section with vendors! Much smaller then the Saturday market but totally worth it and a must if you want a nice local market!
A lovely small market selling lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as a few bakery stalls selling fresh breads, baked goods and delicious pastries and danishes.
Interesting market with tasty food. Not as large as I expected. Hopefully, the market will get bigger over time.
Try Grumpy Bee honey in the market if you like to taste the best Tassie's leatherwood and tallowwood honey. Highest quality honey at cheapest price with friendly staff.will be back and highly recommend it A+
It’s a place with more eateries, and definitely an alternative to Salamanca market (if you miss the Saturday market at Salamanca, you can come over to Farm Gate on Sunday).
From black garlics to bread, from fresh milk to garden and farm produce.
If you are driving, do take note you have to park elsewhere and walk, and there’s time limit (1-2H P meter parking).
Don’t expect too much and you’ll be fine! It’s a very small version of Salamanca markets with Indo food and dogs tied up on the side if you bring your dog
Crazy good best place for locals and tourists to meet and enjoy fresh food on offer DEFINITELY a market worth of going to
Nice place to explore the local produce and some eateries and coffee trucks nearby. But the place is a little small so takes about 30mins to cover the entire place.
