The owners were so lovely and I fell in with Archie the black lab. Make sure you play fetch with him. It was really nice of the owner to give us a tour of his winery and the vineyard. We bought a bottle of the Pinot Noir

Loretta and Andy were fabulous hosts who took us through his wine making process and gave us a sneaky sample right out of the barrel. 'Sorry Andy' well worth a visit.

My girlfriend and I had a girls weekend away in Hobart and whist visiting we decided to go wine tasting where we stumbled upon this absolute gem of a winery. Loretta was a fantastic tour guide (as we were taken back to watch the wine being made and have a few cheeky samples) and host and this winery made our holiday. We purchased a bottle each and even got to meet the model Archie on the front of the bottle. Thank you Loretta from the British and Russian girl back in February 2018

If you are in the area, do yourself a favour and visit this beautiful little gem of a cellar door. Andy and Loretta are the most wonderful, welcoming hosts and once you settle in with a glass in your hand won't want to leave!
Andy provided a super personalised experience, showing us around and talking us through his (unique) wine making process as we sipped our tastings. We already look forward to coming back.

This is the most hilarious winery I’ve ever been too and the Savvy B is very reasonably priced and delicious.

It’s one of the smallest commercial wineries in Tasmania, possibly the world, and the story of how they came to own the winery is quite incredible.

I’ve been doing stand up for 10 years and the tour we got from Loretta was like an off shoot of the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
