Every Man & His Dog Vineyard

One of our last stops during our brief visit to Tasmania and we're glad we did. The owners/ hosts were warm and welcoming, the tastings were generous, the conversation was entertaining and the wine was delicious (we left with a pinot). It's one of Tassies oldest vineyards so if you like a good chat and great wine, make sure you stop in for a glass and say hi to the vineyard mascot, Archie the black lab.

There is really a dog! And the host is just a nice guy, you’d be silly not to pop in for a taste and to buy!

Great visit with an enthusiastic wine maker, touring the winery, patting Archie and tasting some standards and a few unusual varieties. Well worth dropping in.

What a genuinely positive and memorable experience! Between the delicious wines and hilarious personal anecdotes, Every Man and His Dog (and especially the gracious hostess with the mostess, Loretta) is a must-visit for anyone and everyone who loves to kick back, savour some exquisite drops and laugh the entire time

It’s amazing how the stories of a winery make the experience. Every Man & His Dog has a ripper story, and I highly recommend swinging by this small producer to get a real wine experience. The Sav Blanc and Cabernet are a treat. Our son had a ball!

Lovely boutique winery, awesome wines and owner Andy.our young girls loved the visit and we got to met Archie the black lab.

Would recommend the cheese platter for 2, it’s $30 and you get 4 cheeses, quince, olives, chutney etc etc and even a sweet treat for desert.

The outside area is a beautiful place to sit and sip on the lovely wine options; but even better, is to sit inside and have a chat about the winery and have a pat of Archie.

The owners sweet black lab Archie (thicc) was a total standout. Lovely lovely boy. Sleep tight sweet prince.

We absolutely loved the place, the loveliest owners, great chat, amazing wine, and a beautiful cheese platter.

This little winery was our favourite experience of the 5 we visited. Loretta was warm, welcoming and everything you could ask for in a host. Her husband was helping a neighbour pick grapes when we visited, but Archie gave us a thorough tour of the vineyard including letting us feed the deer. If you want a truely down to earth, honest local wine experience, you cannot go past Every Woman & Her Dog.

Had a great time doing the tour of the winery and vineyards, Loretta even invited us to feed the deers next door. Lovely setup and left with a nice bottle of wine.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit if you would like to experience homely atmosphere and meet friendly, positive owners who will introduce you to an absolutely wonderful range of wine with fascinating story of courage and long lasting love. As a bonus you get a cuddle from cutest labrador.

One of our favourite wineries by far. Not only delicious wines and generous tastings, but also the most friendly hosts and such a beautiful spot. The new tasting room is definitely a much see. Can't recommend enough!

Great winery, you talk to the actual wine maker and the vineyard manager. Good wine, friendly wine dog and nice casual environment. They also offer free tours of the vineyard and the winery.

Honestly such a cute little winery.
I had no expectations as we drove in and I was blown away with the level of hospitality and genuine passion shown by Loretta and Andy.
Delicious wine and cheese as well as the perfect spot to reflect and enjoy the precious moments in life.
Will be back everytime we come to tassie and would recommend to anyone who needs to take a moment out of their day or week.

Lovely little winery with such kind hosts who are more than happy to tell you their story behind the vineyard. The varieties of wine are fantastic as well. Do yourself a favour and make the visit.
