Great selection of beer and fantastic pub food. Staff very friendly. Do yourself a favour and call in for a beer and feed.

Top gaff. Friendly staff serving quenching beer and bar nibbles. Cosy atmosphere with a fire and a dartboard. Plus b2b mtb videos on tv. Perfection.

Excellent feed. Very nice people running the pub.
We arrived after counter lunch hours but they cooked a mouth watering burger for us and chips. Thankful.

Can not fault this place.
Not for only the food and beverages, (Try the Chicken Parmi) The owners and staff are fabulous! I have honestly never felt more welcomed into a local pub like this.

Superb pub food- great value and generous servings when you have worked hard all day on the best mtb trails in Aust. Great place to stay - comfy beds and breaky included. We will be back.

Fantastic local pub with something for everyone to drink, local craft beers plus all the mainstream classics, the food is next level from what you'd expect from a country pub. The place is buzzing with life on a Monday night in April.

Such a friendly and cosy little pub! We got into Derby late on a Monday night and didn’t realise that all the places close at 5pm or there abouts. The Dorset was the only pub open serving meals (only till 8pm Mon & Tues) We came in peak season to ride so luckily they were kind enough to fit us in for dinner as there was no where else in town to go. They told us to make a reservation for Tuesday night also as the other pubs/restaurants won’t be open late till Wednesday onwards. (Mon & Tues) is like their weekend.
Food was amazing! Huge portions, plenty of options and cheap prices! Has a great beer garden when the weather is nice enough to enjoy it and inside is super cosy and warm. The staff were so friendly, even giving us a few coffee pods for us to take back to our Airbnb for free as the general store was already closed. Highly recommend this place and thank the staff for their kindness.

Beer garden out back, good menu for lunch or dinner, plenty of choice in the beverage department, what more could you want? !

Awesome beer, awesome hospitality, awesome food. Had 3 dinners there & Sharon's sticky date pudding is off the charts good!

The Dorset is the best place to eat dinner in Derby. Ok it's the only place to eat dinner in Derby but it's great honest pub food that's reasonably priced and served quickly by the friendly and helpful hosts. It's well worth stopping in for a generous steak or outstanding parma.

I have been to Derby 3 times, but this was the best. If you want to ride hard, drink good beer & eat awesome food this is the place to go.
