Service was great. I loved that they present each meal as it arrives. Servings sizes were great we were stuffed leaving. Ingredients fresh and tasty. Some cheap imported beers too were a nice touch

Beautiful dining room, bright friendly service, great cocktail list, wide range of dishes catering to GF and DF. Every dish was scrumptious. Had a great experience here and will be back next time I'm in Hobart.

Honestly one of the best Asian restaurants I’ve been too, AMAZING for GF and diary free options made it sooo much easier for me! The food was sooo delicious and the staff where amazing! All around a highlight in our trip to Tasmania!

One of the best meal I have ever had. Highly recommend everyone to try the Chef's feed me course meal, every dish was perfectly favoured with its unique taste. Every staff there were very nice and helpful, overall a wonderful dinning experience.

Beautiful vibrant experience. Had a reunion with some old friends. Selected the feed me option and a bottle of wine and just spend the next 3 hours totally taken care of. Have to say the friendly attentive service just made the evening flow, it's like our lovely servers thought of everything before we thought it ourselves. The food was fresh textures and interesting combinations. Delicious. Thankyou guys

Strap yourself in for a long dinner and order multiple dishes because the food is delicious. My favourites were the oysters and the cured salmon.

What an absolute standout! We are so delighted to have come across Dana when looking for a special place to spend one of our three nights in Hobart. Amazing food and epic service to match. The lovely Oli and Paula served us tonight. We are serious Asian fusion fans, tonight's meal was on par with the best experiences we have had at Lucy Liu, Chin Chin and Oriental Tea House in Melbourne.

The favourites from our over indulgent feast would be.the Roti (we ended up ordering a second!), Turnip Cake, Green Curry and that epic chilli chocolate mouse (WOW!).

We look forward to returning on our next trip. Thank you to the amazing team for such a wonderful evening.

Delicious food, well catered to all dietary requirements which was so great as we had a lot! We came in a large group for a work function and the staff were so friendly and accommodating.the wine list was fabulous. Table service was the perfect balance of there when we needed them, but not around when we didn't!:) Thanks Dana, will be recommending you to all of my friends!

Great food, fantastic service. The best night out in years. They even donate some of the takings to charity. Made up for our previous disasterous night out at Customs House where the food was poor and the service was most unsatisfactory.

Wow. Cannot fault it. Alot of vegetarian options.gluten free.vegan etc.all meals are built to be shared. Although not necessary. We had 6 different options.and could not pick anything wrong with any of them.hands down the best Thai Green Curry I have ever had. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Punching well above their weight. 5 out of 5.

Tasmania trip (last minute as usual due to ever changing covid restrictions). Lunch at @danaeatinghouse - delicious Asian fusion food, cool drinks, and friendly service! Not quite 'authentic' in any way, but as long as you approach the food with a 'just want to have good food' mentality, you'll enjoy it.

Confit octopus: super yummy octopus! Nice and tender. Great flavours.

Crispy radish cakes: with smokey eggplant puree and son in law eggs. Really loved this dish! The radish cakes were tasty, and the son in law eggs were so good.

Soy caramel chicken wings: these were super super yummy! Sweet and sticky and full of flavours. Couldn't get enough!

Pork belly skewers: with lotus seed puree and pickled cucumbers, chilli oil. The taste was excellent, but the pork itself was slightly on the dry side. Very interesting having the lotus seed puree!

Market fish: blue eyed trevalla fish in a Malaysian style sugo tomato curry sauce, crispy chickpeas. Love love love this dish! The fish was perfectly cooked. The sauce was a nice tangy flavour. And the crispy chickpeas were an excellent touch.

Bubble tea gin and tonic: one called poltergeist, and the other one anther cherry: they called these drinks bubble tea gin and tonic, but there wasn't any tea in the drinks. BUT, the drinks were delicious! I love the popping pearls.

We had the $70 tasting menu - everything was absolutely delicious and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.

Spent a wonderful evening here enjoying the $50 Chef’s Feed Me menu, cocktails and dessert.
Really unique and interesting combinations of flavours that all worked spectacularly!
The creamy chilli butter with the roti and the roast celeriac in miso broth were particularly scrumptious.
Lovely casual fine dining ambience and beautiful service.
Highly recommend.

Great service! Love the crispy radish cake, wok tossed beef and the most yummy soy caramel chicken wings! Reasonable price and very generous portions! A great place to order a few dishes and share with friends!

Visited Dāna Eating House for our anniversary dinner and had the vegan Chef's Feed Me option. Not a single dish disappointed! And the cocktails were the cherry on top! We will be back!

We loved our night at Dana - the staff were polite and attentive, going the extra mile to give us a glass of bubbles on arrival to celebrate the start of our honeymoon Fantastic cocktails that were out of the box and delicious and the food… well, literally some of the best we’ve had in Tassie, we had the roti, the lamb pancake and the slow short rib… just phenomenal flavors! Yum! I can recommend Dana to anyone that is in the area - especially the enclosed outdoor Jungle area, which has a cool vibe whilst keeping toasty warm away from the weather. Thanks Dana team for having us, we loved it! ️
