Daci & Daci Bakers reviews
66 Spoke to Megan who was lovely in organising a suprise birthday cake for a top client of ours. We had to get this cake delivered via courier, who again were easy to deal with.
All details were confirmed but on the day of pick up, I have no idea what poor communication happened internally but our order could not be found by the bakery
Instead of calling the buyer/myself first, this person from the bakery called THE SURPRISE RECIPIENT saying they have no record of their cake.
They had my details and did also call me (second).
My client was not too happy.
When I called the bakery to enquire - there was no real apology given. More a subtle blame that I should have ensured all details were to be passed on to the bakery (which I did).
And that "these things happen"
I am sure 99% the team are amazing, as it was my experience with Megan and the other team members, but this one (which didn't give her name on aswering the phone) was absolutely atrocious.
Fabulous venue for coffee cake and chat. Comfortable nice ambience great cakes and good coffee. We'll be back. Oh and the service was warm and friendly.
We called in here on the way to the ferry terminal for coffee and brekky croissants to go. Nice patisserie but the service was somewhat lacklustre, perhaps more of an effort is made with customers who dine in.
Quick table service, if you are out for a quick lunch or bite to eat. Wait staff are very friendly and efficient. Beautiful display of pastries and cakes as well
Busy charming cafe near the Salamanca markets. Delicious sweets and bakeries. Friendly staff and great location.
Went here for breakfast and were impressed by variety of cakes. And they actually tasted as good as they looked. Just delightful! Salmon sandwich was over any praise as well. Apricot danish was not that good but nothing could be perfect. Service is very nice too. So well deserved 5 stars)
Great place to eat delectable pastries and as pleasant walk up Murray street. A very busy place but the staff are attentive. They serve alcohol but I chose a vanilla bean milkshake to have with a steak & heon mushrooms pie. They have a great selection of tarts for dessert
Went here for my nieces birthday. Had a table for 8. Service was promt and food was all very delicious!
Great mocha.
Average Hot chocolate.
Meringue rosewater and pistachio are all about sugar and nothing special.
But I have 3stars for loving their great environment and good service by the waiters.
We chanced upon this cafe in the morning. The chicken pies & smoked salmon tart looked so good, we dived in and forgot to take pictures! We then ordered the Belgian Chocolate Roll & Tropical Fruit Slice to share. Both were divine! Must try if u're in the neighbourhood!
Not one for pumpkin soup but this bakery make the best pumpkin soup ever, oh and the pork and fennel sausage roll was awesome! (My husband commented). We enjoyed this lunch as takeaway on Thusday 15 November 2018, whilst holidaying in Tassie.
Pretty average in terms of service. Not sure if they were too swamped with patrons but it took a long time for us to get our drinks, the food came out faster than our coffees which is highly unusual. The table next to us had finished their meals before they got their teas which didn't bode well for our expectation. They also forgot to bring out our dessert/cake.
Food quality was decent, nothing to rave home about.
Their beef & mushroom steak was amazing. Next time I have to try their other pastries. They all look so delicious. We will definitely come back. Thanks so much!
Stocked with breakfast and lunch favourites, this french patisserie serves up classics like tarts, pastries, sweets, fresh baguette sandwiches. Staff were highly engaging and helpful. Plenty of seating inside and out - we'll definitely go back! (Was fun to see a traditional continental breakfast on offer)
Fantastic French patisserie producing all French favourites in sweet and savoury. This is a must go to place when visiting Hobart.
The service is excellent.efficient and welcoming.
They produce top quality goods in this business. If you are partial to a savoury pie, then I highly recommend Daci & Daci pies.there are generally a couple on the menu.
The coffee is superb
What a delight! From the smell of hot bread to the distinguished decor, this place is inviting and appealing. I had the Continental Breakfast and added some bacon and it was all delicious, very filling, and better value than my hotel. I thin chose some things from the counter to take away and enjoy later. Definitely a place you must try when in Hobart.
Interiors of this place is immaculate and the food was even better. Service was amazing! Definitely coming back.
Daci & Daci is a very stylish pastry shop/bakery with great savoury & sweet delights in a European cafe location. They are open for breakfast, lunch & afternoon tea with a wide range of coffee & other drinks too. Staff are friendly and the service is good. Highly recommended.
Great coffee & pastries.a must do in Hobart. Unfortunately roadworks are happening outside the door atm.
Potato Leek & Bacon soup with sourdough. Just perfect for lunch. Coffee and staff are fantastic not to mention the pastries
