Commercial Hotel Cygnet

Really, really, really slow service here for food. Waited over an hour for our orders to arrive, and it wasn't great, most of the vegetables were hard and undercooked.
Yes the waitress did apologise for the delay, but didn't dare to ask how the meal was as most of the plates weren't finished.
No offer of a complimentary dessert or drink for the inconvenience.
Won't be going here again on my future trips.

It's a shame that there is no zero star otherwise I would go for it.
This pub obviously doesn't want customers to dine here.
In an empty restaurant we tried to order a steak sandwich and hamburger eating in. Only to be very rudely told that these were only available for take away.
We left with very uncomfortable.

Great seafood platter! We have been in a couple of times for it. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Excellent food served promptly and hot. The venue seemed very noisy to me, but probably only because of the guests. A good pub menu, generous serves and friendly staff.

This is such a beautiful Hotel. The wood fire was very welcoming and the staff were wonderful. Meals were very well priced and decently sized. Our meals were excellent. We went there as a group booking and everyone loved there meals including myself. 5 stars guys keep up the good work *****

We had lovely roast and bangers meals mid week when not much else open. Very friendly and helpful service. He was also very efficient considering only worker on by the looks. Very generous portions and good atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for dinner in Cygnet!

Wonderful Caesar salad, just how it should be and totally enjoyable. Excellent service from wait staff, from starter to coffee.an excellent meal!

Made the mistake of ordering scallop pie. The pie was very nice but insubstantial for a meal with a couple of chips. A bit of salad or a few more chips would have made it more significant. Everyone else who dined with me had huge meals and felt sorry for me. Perhaps this is only intended for a lunch meal? I dont know but if that was the case say so.

We had dinner at the commercial and had the most deliciously tender beef ribs we have ever eaten. Mathew the bar tender was fantastic recommending a delicious Tasmanian wine and beer to go with our meal. His service was excellent and he was exceptionally friendly to everyone who came in. Highly recommend this establishment

Great country pub for dinner and drinks. Owner even gave us a lift home after a few too many. Can’t recommend more!

I love this pub. Oldest pub in the area, great charm, great bar.
The food is consistently good. The staff are super friendly and their hours are great.
The cafe has good food and coffee too if you wanted a quick bite.
There is even a bottle shop out the back, so its a one stop shop.
Rob and the team take pride in being the best pub in the area.

I live in the area and family came for lunch. Service was great and everyone liked their food. I had battered flathead it was cooked really well. I couldn't finish it due to the extra large serving. No problem. I asked for a container and took the rest home.

What a wonderful place, I met Jenny, the Licencee, and had a great chat about all things, which of course, included world peace.
Seriously, I have visited this over many years and it has always been a great place to relax, share a few brews, and the food is always fabulous. They great breakfast delights and the coffee is right up there. They also have a great bottleship attached. This place is highly recommended to everyone. Keith

Worst Draught Cascade Beer I have ever tasted. Left the hotel thinking I'd just siphoned petrol from someone's car and accidentally swallowed it.

Called in on a wet miserable Sunday. Staff very friendly, and very nice lunch. Good pub menu. One of those pubs we will come back to soon.

Fantastic. Met the Cygnet Cougar Coffee Club.lovely group.every Friday. Staff lady with Nose Rings excellent. Loves her town and job. Nice vibe.

Great food, said it was a small serve but I couldn't eat all. Friendly staff. Will certainly call here again.

Generously portioned delicious pub fare. Children always welcomed. A lovely relaxed atmosphere.

My reason for 3 stars is. I had a seafood chowder and it had paprika in it.
Not advertised on the menu. All other seafood chowders I have ever had were in a white sauce. This was in the hotel cafe.
