We were given good customer service and the meal was bought to us in good time and was delicious.

Went a fortnight ago, service was fantastic from taking our order to checking everything was good, clearing our table etc etc. So decided to go again the next week (2 days ago)
Asked if we were ready to order almost straight away I asked the lady to come back in a couple of minutes and that was the last of the service.had to go up to bar to order lunch as we were ignored for rest if our time. Not even our empty plates taken.
Sorry won't be returning.

Food was good. I ordered the pork belly and there was actually a decent serving of crackling! I was quite impressed with this venue. Service was good too.

Garlic bread, Ham & mushroom Pizza, Garlic Chicken & Central Chicken risotto (special board dish) All very delicious! Great atmosphere and wonderful customer service

The service was lovely as was the open fire. Portion size is generous but perhaps a bit less cheese on the pizza might make the meal even better so you could taste the other ingredients.

Delicious meal. Garlic chicken with beans, chapped potatoes and carrots, in a garlic sauce. So good! Will definitely be back

Delicious and freshly cooked meals. This place is for you, if you enjoy Asian cuisine. Overall, reasonably priced, plenty varieties to choose.

Great food never had a bad meal there. Huge servings. Have tried several things of the menu all been great. Friendly staff.

Ordered the pumpkin and pine nut risotto which looked really nice, however rice was underdone and crunchy. Sent back. When it was brought back rice cooked more, but was really hot as if it had been microwaved. It was really greasy and not very nice.

Had a meal with friends on Wed 27th 2019. Service and venue was good, but the pizza I had left a lot to be desired. I chose the meat wheel pizza without the mayo suggested in the menu. Could not see the topping ingredients for the cheese. The pizza was covered in fat from the cheese. The base was a bit like eating a tough biscuit. A gourmet pizza it was not. More like a pizza from a frozen supermarket line - yuk.
I suggest the chefs have a good hard look at their pizzas and try tasting them with a view to creating a meal that is good to look at as well as good to eat. Some big improvements needed. Try some pizzas from your Rooke St competitors.

We had pizza for lunch yesterday and better would be hard to get. Staff friendly, helpful and dedicated. Coffee excellent. Toilets clean. Heaps of parking. Wheelchair accessible. DEVONPORT can be proud to have this business. Absolutely worthwhile to visit.

Last night after coming from Melbourne via the Spirit of Tasmania stepping through the door of this restaurant was like entering a portal of non-service. Our hesitancy to order drinks straight away virtually rendered us invisible to the various staff who ambled past our table gravitating towards the computer corner near the bar. When I told our initial meet and greet person some 10 minutes later that we were ready to order she said another waiter would be with us shortly. When he arrived 10 minutes later he could barely make eye contact as he took a relatively simple order of soup of the day and scallops. We waited at least 40 minutes for a soup that was salty and relatively tasteless. The only staff member who encouraged feedback was the lovely cashier but alas by then it was too late and we won't be going back.

I’m having the best meal since I reach Davenport 2 days ago. I’ve got grilled scallops wrapped with bacon and drizzled soy sauce and rice. It was really good but the rice slightly starchy which spoiled a little bit. But there’s a redemption which is flourless chocolate mousse with raspberry compote and whipped cream. My god that’s phenomenal.great atmosphere and good customer service.highly recommended!
