Carlyle Hotel

My meal was delivered to me after everyone else had finished, my veggies weren't cooked. I was told the kitchen ran out of veggies, very poor.

About 10 Mins away from city by car. Movie theater nearby. Room is very clean and staff are very friendly. Overall a good stay

Ordered chicken palmy and found chips cold and chicken palmy covering mooshy. Nice enough surroundings with lotto and pokies too.

Lovely courteous barmaid and very good venue except for stairs for older people or those on crutches

Service from staff was good, unfortunately the meals were sub standard. I had a parmie and chips the chicken tasted like it had been warmed up and the chips had been sitting around for a long time. My children ate the nuggets, their chips were to the same standards as my own and the nuggets were oily. And tastes that way.

Stayed here 4 nights with my family. The hotel rooms were clean and large. All the staff were all very friendly and helpful (hotel, bistro, sports, etc). Food and drinks were also good. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great location central to the Northern suburbs and close to Hobart.
Easy to get to the highway to take you in any direction.

Possibly the weirdest pub ever. Strange layout, absolute maze of a place. Kids playground looks like it's out of Chernobyl, and I have a feeling their mixed drinks aren't as strong as they should be. Probably worth a visit for the freak factor, but don't under any circumstances order food.

We had a good stay here as it was close to our family. The king size bed was very comfortable and it had nice linen on it. Plenty of off street parking and we loved the complimentary breakfast boxes.

Restaurant had good quality food and drink.
However been several times and pokies don't like paying out, if I'm going gaming I'm heading to the Kaz.

Been to Carlyle hotel many times went on Sunday night 5 of us never again it was worst food we had ever had steak was so burnt asked med rare other person got Cajun carrot soup came out cold they took it back came back so hot left it on table bought drinks for kids 3 different times got charged different prices each time by different staff vegetables on plate were swimming in water you guys should be ashamed I was to eat here

Wow that was bad. The meat was rubbery and overcooked and honestly I'd have been better off making Chicken Tonight out of a jar at home, for a fraction of the cost of that.
