Food was cold and soggy Snitzels were rock hard kids meals were forgotten had to remind staff multiple times would not recommend

1 Star. Food really really sub par. All 8 family voted the same. New cook required for putting that level food out

Kids always have fun. Service was slow and the men that work there need to learn to smile steak was similar to a belt chewy.

Hardly any food for specific dietry requirements. The Carlyle Hotel has many services such as a play ground, multiple function areas, a smoking area and more.

Oh Carlyle Management, when will you compliment your awesome staff with better food?
Well can’t say I was disappointed with the food as I should have known better, come on you can do better than serve takeaway food on a plate (instead of in a paper bag).

Dj night we went but have bands too
Drinks were good price on a sat night 4.20 for a gin
Toilets were clean staff friendly
Smokers area out front was ok screened from road

3 years later went for mates bday.bit hit and miss and loos were disgusting

Friendly staff, cheap bar meals. Bit quiet since Covid but family-friendly bistro as a result good for group functions. Updated accommodation upstairs

A couple of the family's meals were alright, but the $32 200 gram steak we ordered as "medium" was brought to us as "burnt". All you could taste when eating it was bitter charcoal. For a family night out, costing $147.the quality really wasn't there for the price tag. There was also no compensation offered for the poorly cooked steak.
This was a disappointing experience.

My recent visit was not as I had hoped it to be. Whilst we were on a bigger table and it was a busy night is really no excuse. We waited a long time to order and a long time for our meals. When the food did come out it was cold and not pleasant at all. At least two of the meals were inedible as they had a strange taste. My steak was charred to practically burnt in places and very inconsistently cooked. When this was told to the staff, the reply was "oh we were busy", not good enough really. Will be a while before go back again.

Fishermen basket way over cooked, there was more chips it should of been called chips with fishermen basket. I would of been better off going to a fish and chip shop

Most enjoyable lunch at Carlyle today with a group from National Service Assn. Highly recommend it. Good meals at good price and very pleasant staff

Excellent food.
Highly recommend the bbq pork spare ribs and the Southern fried chicken burger.

Use to be a very welcoming, very popular, hard to get into for dinner Hotel! COVID I think, has changed all this for them or somewhere amongst all of this covid19 pandemic they have lost their way! Tonight, took the family out for dinner, I ordered the scallops! Was told, sorry we have run out of scallops!
I jokingly replied “ Really, that’s all I really come out here for “! Young lady who served me said in return “ Well go home then “! Honestly!

First visit, friendly staff. The meals were large, delicious and very reasonable. Will happily be back for a meal.

The steak burger was a bit salty. The staff was a bit rude and i got $5 cash out when i went back and i ask for $7 they didn't let me

Very well presented rooms. Very clean. Nice modern Tv with netflix inbuilt was nice. Mattress couldve been more comfortable.

Cheap and cheerful. Recently renovated room was very clean. Not particularly suitable if you need to get some work done due to the lack of desk space.
WiFi speed was very slow.
