We almost skipped this place because of the overall 3.7 stars review. But it would have been a huge mistake! We had the best meal - creamy oysters and a delicious blue eye trevalla with the most beautiful saffron sauce! The white wines were also very good. Don’t miss out on this place.

Amazing seafood, wine and vegetables. Every plate was incredible. Easily the best place to dine on the island.

Disappointing visit.
Unfriendly welcome, unhelpful staff.
Ordered 2 serves of Dukkah which arrived as one serve claiming to be 2! Rude.

First timers to Bruny Island, 2 weeks into our 5 week trek around Tassie. Everybody so far very helpful and friendly.
On Bruny Island for 4 nights, we thought we will give the winery's a check out, arrived at Bruny Island Premium Winery, looked good.
We waited for a tasting spot, staff not interested at all explaining, the feeling we received was get them in get them out.
WE would not recommend to visit.

Visited for a wine tasting and lunch with a tour group. Seemed like they didn't really want the tour group. Seemed like they wanted us in and out. Wine tasting was just tipping wine in a glass and running off, the salmon 'meal' was barely entree size and not the same meal served to the diners not on the tour. Wouldn't recommend it.

Locals. We decided to go and do the Tourist thing for a parks n rec treat yoself. John our server was impecable even getting me to say I like Rose, no easy feat. Beautiful steak from the cows at the black marsh and a lovely vibe with some well selected music that softly sent us home. My partner and I loved it. Thank you!

A great place for lunch. We arrived around 2pm on a week day during the holidays and only waited a few minutes for a table. The wait staff are friendly. The food was delicious. The Angus beef had the most incredible flavour which cooked through amazingly. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a place to visit when in burny island.

The staff were super friendly and suggested their favorite meals. This is the best place to eat in Bruny Island. I will defiantly you be back.

Tried the wines. $5 for a tasting. Enjoyed the sweeter wines the most. They managed to squeeze us in for an early lunch. Wallaby and lamb. Sensational.
