Bicheno by the Bay

Highly recommend Bicheno by the Bay. We loved our comfortable, modern, well priced bungalow, perfect for couples and families. The area is very quiet during the day and night but is within walking distance of the shops and beach. Pool and BBQ area was great. Ocean views were divine. The staff are super friendly and helpful. What more could you want? !

Got a pink cottage with balcony facing the sea. Superb experience! Very rustic homely feel. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in Tasmania again!

Great place to stay, situated between town and the water. The cabins are comfy and fully self contained (although don't think you are going to cook a roast dinner in the camp oven!) albeit a bit old. The lack of a recycling facility in this day and age is a bit sad though.

Basic accomodation but very clean. Had everything we needed The owners were. Very friendly and helpful

Staff were friendly but disappointed with our accommodation. Things are a bit tired and dated. We were a couple but had a family unit as all that was left when our agent booked. Not sure what the other units were like? Felt it was very basic and kitchen not terribly well appointed. Needs full size cooker if you were to cater for family I think. We were allocated only one toilet roll! There was a large stain on the carpet in the lounge area which gave the impression of not being clean. The bed was comfortable. Location good for beach etc.

Awesome stay, great sized rooms and serene location. Not many food options around especially later in the evening.

What a lovely spot! Sweet little cabins with all the amenities needed for a night/week or month. The penguins are a special treat and cabin having an ocean view made for a wonderful stay. Would come again.

Really enjoyed this stay. Cute cottages, great location and fairy penguins abound at night. Just a 5 min walk from the blow hole and some decent eateries.

Clean bungalows with all the amenities you would need. It's mother fancy.just the basics. The heating system was really good. I liked how they provided electric blankets and heating in every room.

Beautiful place to stay, only wish we stayed longer. Accommodation is similar to ski lodge, very comfortable, set up for cold weather with everything you need. Will definitely come back here, very friendly owners too!

One of our best stays. Really friendly lovely couple are new to running this resort. It's so warm and cozy and our beds are so comfortable, it makes it hard to get out in the morning. Cottages are well equipped clean and homely. Pool is beautiful but unfortunately too cold to be used. Watch this place, so many great changes and activities to be added to this resort. Our family loved, loved, loved it.

Beautiful location, spacious and well designed cabins and close to the town and blow hole.overall an amazing experience

Nice big house with great harbour and sky view. Garage was big enough for 2 cars. The classic style kitchen had every kitchenware you want.

Very nice stay, but the reception is not open a lot unfortunately. Well located and very cozy and enjoyable.
