Beach Hotel

Went here for dinner on 18th December 2020 and the staff were incredibly rude. Have never experienced such grumpy rude staff ever. We were seated at the very back of the restaurant with many other customers (not covid safe) when there were many tables near the front Seaview windows. Asked if we could please move and the staff handled the situation very rudely. I would not be happy at all if I was the owner, knowing my staff were acting like this. We didn’t mind that we couldn’t move and got on with ordering. The staff then threw our plates down on the table. Not nice. Sorry will not be back and will not recommend. Really hope you get some caring, polite staff soon:)

Great spot to stay, foods fantabulous and highly recommend it, room we had room 4 was spot on roomy comfy and super clean,

This Hotel still impresses us when we visit. The staff are friendly and courteous and the food is always well presented and tasty.
We cannot fault the cleanliness and the attention to detail every time someone enters of leaves after eating.
Tables promptly cleaned and dishes removed immediately.
We have been going here for years and will continue to do so.

The absolute best Parmigiana I have had in years, anywhere! Do your self a favor and check out their awesome food. Well done AAA +

Been going to the beach hotel for meals for the last 30+ years. However Today was a massive winner for us. Great meal and service. Compliments to the chef from a chef. Money well spent.

Good hotel at a great location. But meals are rather expensive- almost fine dining prices! Great friendly service.

This place is all you want in accommodation. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and very clean and modern. The staff are amazing. Nothing was beyond asking, they went above and beyond to try to accommodate us while being polite and friendly. The meals were yummy and we'll proportioned and there are terrific views from the booths in the bistro. The drinks were cold and there was great variety. In short I highly recommend a stay here. We will be back. Thank you everyone at the Beach Hotel Burnie who made our stay so easy.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights, 2 weeks ago. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming, couldn't be more helpful. We were very surprised with the room, it was updated and very modern. We were even delivered breakfast to our room, which was a bonus these days. The meals were fantastic, we are showing photos of my Steak sandwich to everyone. To Jemma, Jayde (I didn't forget) and Brendan and the rest of the staff a big thank you. We certainly would stay again.

It's improved dramatically. As of September 19, there has been a big improvement in the food. Can now recommend it. And the service was prompt too.

Slow on service and inconsistent food.
If your there on a slow night food is usually excellent but when crowded the quality sinks faster than Nanna's false teeth down a toilet bowl.

Andy from Beach hotel has modified his old area of bottle shop and created this little idea of a man cave to get the lads n gals together for a screening of barracking for your team and heckling ya mates.
Support the gang of the hotel as it's fun and totally working

Not recommended unless you want a drink with a nice ocean view.

The steak was terrible. My partner ordered a rare but it was over cooked so sent it back to the kitchen and this time it was too rare. Not even warm.

I ordered a maple bacon burger. The sauce was actually fine but the bun was soggy with butter and the patty tasted absolutely artificial because of the seasoning.

The chips were not hot at all and kinda soggy they could be more crispy.

Everything was so terrible that we laughed our butts off except for the red wine. Please don't go and regret and waste your time and money.

Very clean up to date rooms, comfy bed, great location, friendly staff, delicious meal. What else do you want? Hopefully be back soon

Very tidy accommodation with Great staff and good service. Good restaurant and bar downstairs. Good views ocean side looking over the beach.

Todays meal at the beach hotel was a joke very poor service and they forgot one order
they were not even busy how do you forget a meal order they didnt even take the starter plates away before mains came out i wont go on about the food just wont go back we have been there before and had top quality meals dont know what happened this time the owner should sit down and try the meals bet he or she wont be happy end of the day its there loss

No air conditioning! Very uncomfortable trying to eat a meal in the extreme heat! Meal ok and reasonably priced.

A very nice place and it’s nice and clean but the food in the bar was very bland and lacked flavour, the staff in the hotel are very friendly and it’s got parking spaces,
Burnie is a small town with not much to offer.

Food is always good. Took some friends fron Gunnadah and they were really impressed with food and prices!

Nice coastal feels sitting at the window having a pint while the weather was blowy & rainy outside. Too early for Dinner but the menu offered seafood orientated pub meals.
Staff are very attentive and welcoming. Standard beers & wine on offer.
